He's really crazy. Pretty damn sure he was once leading scorer - at season's end. I know Japanese strikers carry a rep for being shit, but his numbers have went into double-figures.
You see that often looking at lists of their players. Mids and even defenders such as Tulio and Nakazawa posing more threat, scoring more goals.
Arsenal sorta kinda remind me of Japan this season, you know, with the spread. Vermaelen and Gallas venture forward so well especially Thomas and they score goals. Set pieces, but not only. And of course goals from midfield.
Anyway I have mixed feelings about this, well if it's to take place. It would be great for him to test himself at a higher level, but the J-League would lose a player who has contributed much as far as performances and emotion, personality, character.
