(Novum) - AZ has overtaken Feyenoord as the third largest club in the Netherlands, at least where the budgets are concerned. The club from Rotterdam South saw its budget drop by almost €8 million, meaning it fell below AZ who saw their budget rise with almost €12 million.

Champions AZ are the sole responsibles for keeping up the Eredivisie's appearances. Virtually all clubs saw their budgets shrink, sometimes dramatically. However, AZ's increase means the Eredivisie's budget as a whole grows by €1.1 million compared to last season.

Ajax's budget remains the largest at €65 million. PSV fall back from €63 million to €59 million, partly due to the club missing out on Champions League football.

I read from a member at another forum [not pricks] that this might have been Honda's last game for VVV! But that sounds rubbish as Keisuke proved himself in the second tier, now the first, then afterwards he can consider. And gosh VVV need him to stay up.

Also, apparently there were scouts looking on from two clubs - Liverpool and Arsenal!

Just hope he makes a wise decision if he decides to leave.

Not go to some EPL club where the retard manager will probably put him on the left wing or if he puts him in the middle, demand that he tracks back the whole time lol

Obviously he should stay though but with money and such short term thinking among many players you never know...

Saw the Twente-PSV match and although a good result none of their players were real standouts. A workmanlike performance. Saying that they have gone over the top about Theo Janssen's performance in the same match. Had a couple of runs and eyecatching long range shots but not as infleuntial as the goal.com guy is making out there.

Theo finally seems to have realised he can't simply live off his talent anymore, good for him. Too bad it might be too late though.

Great match PSV-Ajax. PSV played some good stuff. Looks like they are still a bit short defensively, getting rid of the dud in goal would be a start and lack a dependable striker that will consistently get them goals. Dzsudzsak was on fire at some points during the game.

Lesjal

Manolev Vlaar Moisander Schilder

Bakkal Afellay

Mertens Honda Dzsudzsak

Suarez

Don't know why Affelay is in there. The guy continues to flatter to deceive. Gave away cheap possession in the middle of the field on numerous occasions and made the wrong choices re: taking on players in the wrong areas. Vlaar in there again. World beater.

All this Vlaar loving. It's Bahia who should be looked at

Still, it's at least good news for Oranje that he's back. Not saying he's international class but he should at least be given a shot in the next few games with Ooijer getting older and Marcellis having the setback kids usually have after their rise to fame.

So what's the story with Brouwers of Moechengladbach? Always overlooked why?
