Knoert, my judgement of Nesu was based just on the Feyenoord match where he hoofed forward every ball that came his way, really haven't seen such a thing since Premier League in the early 90's.

Well he's got a very typical style of play, very entousiastic and aggressive, but he nearly never make vital mistakes like Cornelisse, Keller, Dickoh and Schut usually do.
He's a true defender but seriously one of the best left-backs we've had over the past years...

The fans choose him as 3rd best player of the season after Silberbauer and Vorm, a fair decision.

A question for you why did you pick Luciano ahead of Romero?

Honestly, I would have picked Luciano as well, he's not only very consistant, but he's also an acrobatic goalie and fun to watch.

Close call between him and Romero though, but Luciano is a great goalie, would be terrific for Feyenoord, but is obviously way out of our reach.

Romero didn't play all games, made an important mistake at the most important moment of the season, overreacted and is still very young.

He's surely a potential star, but I think Luciano was of more importance for Groningen.

I am shocked you left Romero out after you love the guy you do Slagathor

And Romero kept 18 clean sheets out of 23.Which is brilliant when you consider we were without our best defender in Moreno in the 2nd half of the season.

He made a bad mistake in the cup but all keepers have bad days i am sure Luciano did as well.

Not about being biased mate i put those AZ players because i felt they were the best this season.Just look at our back 4 we had 23 clean sheets that is amazing. And we had injuries as well.

Yeah but Luciano was more important to Groningen than Romero to AZ. We continued our clean sheet runs after he got injured. Luciano, on the other hand, was surrounded by overhyped and rubbish defenders all season.

FFS why are people picking Granqvist. "Oh this guy scored a magnificent goal against a non-existent Utrecht. He must be a great defender"

Muppets, all of you.

Apart from that goal he was defensively sound for pretty much the entire season. He also isn't afraid to move into midfield in stead of safely hanging back and he's got some good technical skills. Apart from that he's also tall, strong, a good header and faster than what he looks like.
