Winter transfermarket

Only a month to go before it opens again and it may well be quite an active one, at the bigger clubs, at least compared to previous ones.

At PSV, you have an Affellay who's clearly looking to move on while you have the now whinging Salcido and Mendez linking themselves to clubs back home in Latin America.

At Ajax, all the rumours will be about Huntelaar as usual, especially with Real Madrid beckoning now with the horse injured for so long and then if he goes, another raid being made at Groningen with Marcus Berg heading south west..

At Feyenoord, it could be an opportunity again to sell de Guzman whose contract runs out in the summer of 2010. As we know, they need to sell before buying someone and with the emergence of Wijnaldum, this may be the time (personally I'd play both though and drop Bruins but hey, if we indeed need money.....)
An interesting rumour / long shot that's been mentioned could be de Guzman going to PSV to replace Afellay.

While at AZ, it probably will surround de Zeeuw possibly going. Probably will stay quiet there though.

Other possible moves:

-Elia to a lower ranked side in the premiership like Hull after his impressive performances in Europe
-Yet another new attacking player for FC Utrecht. Expect something Moroccan knowing Willem.

Interesting will be that in contrast to previous winter transfermarkets, we probably will be seeing nothing happen at the bottom clubs. Volendam seem resigned to going down while Vitesse, ADO and de Graafschap really seem to have no money to even make loan deals from what I've read.

Anyhow someone who could be on the move to an eredivisie club could be:

Quote:

Like said, look out for Willem

De Zeeuw was connected to HSV in the late summer. Interesting that AZ wants to loan or even buy Ofoe from us ( a 20 year old central midfielder from belgium who failed to make any impact so far..). Maybe he's seen as a longterm replacement for de Zeeuw ...
Any news lately connecting de Zeeuw to HSV ? How do you rate him ?

He's too good for the Bundesliga, no disrespect. There's a pretty stubborn rumor out there linking him to Valencia; he'd do well there. I think he might leave.

If only Spain and England implemented the same rules as in Holland or Germany where clubs can't create too bigga debts, we'd have a far more level playing field.

The debts clubs like Valencia, Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal etc have...:thmbdown::thmbdown:

De Zeeuw is not that good. Especially since all AZ players have looked better playing for you cheesefarmers than outside the village.

Yep, de Zeeuw is no better than de Jong IMO.

Looking at the amount of goals he scored against you I can understand the happiness from your side. Although nothing is official yet.

Next......Kew Jaliens

Bosz can seriously **** off if he does that next. The story going that he's asking for a payrise plus high bonuses based on success is revolting too.

Dunno though if those suggestions could be implemented.

Only the debt thing I think could be realistic.

6 + 5 will never happen. Also I doubt if any court would care about Manders' feelings about these transfers, they're all perfectly legal so nothing to do against it.

Groningen brengt bod uit op Eindhoven-topscorer Koç

03/12/2008 09:41

Knowing FC Eindhoven's financial position, it'll only be a matter of when rather than if.

Kid definitely has been firing them in in the Jupiler League.

Jupiler league falls just outside my radar range so I'm going to go ahead and take your word for it.

Scoring goals in the Jupiler league doesn't mean anything. Tozé was also banging in goals for FC Zwolle last season, but now he's on trial at a Hungarian club after Alaves released him from his contract
