Two games of great importance. If we manage to tie Portugal then we'll put them in a really difficult situation. If we beat Finland, we'll get rid of a serious competitor. If we lose both games, we'll need to win all three remaining matches (Belgium H, Kazakhstan H, Serbia A).

My team for both games:

--------------------------- Boruc ------------------------------

Wasilewski--------Zewlakow----------Jop-------------Bronowicki

-----------------Dudka--------Lewandowski--------------------

Blaszczykowski------------Gargula---------------Krzynowek

--------------------------Matusiak-----------------------------

My two concerns : Brożek and Jelen should be called up, one is top scorer in Polish Extraklasa and second is always an asset with his speed and bravery. I really dont like that Leo left them out :rollani: .

Other than that is is ok.

I strongly believe that we are going to win one game and tie another one.

He doesn't play. p

He's like the 6th central midfielder after Lucho Gonzalez, Raul Meireles, Paulo Assuncao, Leandro Lima, and Mario Bolatti.

He played in the pre-season but hasn't gotten a minute yet in the first two league games. I'm sure he'll get his chance though as a couple of the guys I mentioned are injury prone and our manager really likes Kaz. He pushed hard to get him this summer so it'd be surprising if he doesn't get any action.

Yeah but I remember the reason he was bought. Lucho was one foot in Juventus so Porto needed an additional midfielder. Anyway, Lucho stayed so now Kazmierczak's place is on the stands I guess...

Well I really don't know what the coaches see in Meireles. He is even called up for this match against Poland and I really hope he plays 'cause from what I saw he's overrated as hell.

Jacek Bąk and Michał Goliński were sent home because of injuries. Jakub Wawrzyniak and Rafał Murawski were called up instead.

Don Leo

Took over us and led Feyenoord to a 2-0 victory over Juventus only 2 weeks after he took over. A season later he won the league too.

Now doing the same with you guys. On the verge of qualifying for Euro 2008 after a horrible world cup.

If only we had one of our competent Dutch managers in charge of our own NT

Did you pick up any suspensions or injuries for the game on Wednesday?

A great result against Portugal, no doubt about it

The 1st half performace was nearly flawless. Of course, Portugal had better possession, but they were hardly dangerous.

Things changed badly after the break but thank God we had Krzynowek.

Now the Finland game, even more important. A victory would be fantastic, but I wouldn't complain if we tied.

Leo now has to make up his mind if we're gonna play more offensively on Wednesday. I thought Smolarek and Zurawski were disappointing yesterday, but their substitutes did even worse, especially Lobodzinski, who was invisible.

My line-up for Finland game:

Boruc - Wawrzyniak, Jop, Zewlakow, Golanski - Krzynowek, Dudka, Lewandowski, Blaszczykowski, Zurawski - Rasiak
