Go with Szczesny throughout the tournament. Although he is just 17, he has a big frame and extraordinarily talented.

I think Bialkowski should be first keeper.
Our weakest formation is midfield but who knows cous i don't see lots of this players.

Poland - Brazil 1:0 (1:0)

Amazing!

17-year-old Grzegorz Krychowiak scored an excellent free kick goal, but all our players deserve praise for a good performance and outstanding fighting spirit.

Well done lads!

Yes he did and he was very very good but got 2nd yellow in 27th minute and went off crying and hiding his eyes in a shirt. That was heartbreaking . 2nd yellow was totally undeserved and I even didnt notice first one. 99% refs would give a warning before destroying the show but thankfully we won despite this incident and ref the idiot.

Poland vs. USA tonight. The Americans were outplayed by South Korea in their first match, but managed to escape with a draw. Despite our victory over Brazil, I'm still not sure what our team is capable of, so I expect a tough game and... every result seems likely to me.

Most probably we'll start with the following eleven:
Bialkowski - Starosta, Fojut, Strugarek, Marciniak (c) - Sacha, Banch, Krychowiak, Cywka - Janczyk, Malecki.

Good luck to our young Eagles

Things are back to normal... :rollani:

Poland - USA 1:6 (1:3)

A very hard landing it was. We started well, being up after just five minutes (Janczyk's goal), but then... Oh, the Americans demolished us completely. Zizzo, Rogers, Szetela, Altidore, Adu - they were making fools of our defenders as we continued to lose faith in a good result with every minute. I can't explain such a negative metamorphosis after just three days... Anyone can?

Rhetorical question...

Heh, back to normal?
I hope thats not normal for us.
Lets hope than maybe one thing that Brazil don't get a point(or only draws) and we can be 3rd place qualifiers? lol
Unless we beat the Koreans, than I can happily buy tickets to watch Poland play in Toronto- I think.
But if they don't beat Koreans(like most likely as it seems) than I'll be saving my cash off course for something else.

By "normality" I meant the loss itself, not its margins of course. And I was referring solely to this team which I put great hopes in last year during the U-19 EC which were played in Poland. They failed me then and that's why I was sceptical regarding our performance in this tournament. We'll see what happens on Saturday, Korea is also a very strong opponent.

Back to reality. This game show as that we don't have any creative player, maybe one Janczyk, oder guys are average. Our captain did 3 mistakes and came two goals. We don't have any power and condition. Nobody on the sub. We must play by 11 men cous rest are lower then average.

Exactly. The substitues did not produce any good either in the first game or yesterday. As far as I remember, we had the same problem last year. In the European Championships the only player who was useful coming off the bench was Mariusz Sacha. Unfortunately he is off-form in this tournament.

Well I hope they get something going for next game.
What are the rules in getting to next round as a 3rd placer?
well i think if others dont get much points anymore an dwe get at least a tie, we can try for a 3rd place...since Koreans are so confident they can beat us....thanks to U.S. game of course. And our couch is risking his life if hes gonna screw up :frustrat:
We''ll see what happens....:undecide:
