easy draw in UEFA especially for Dyskobolia

In CL strange situation first was Slavia, Steua is very strong i hope they eliminated Zaglebie cous this is first Polish team in cups which i hate.

Three years ago was the same situation in 3Q Wisla draw Monaco but UEFA change it and they must to play with Real.

By the way, key MKT-Araz striker Anatoli Dorosh played in the past for Legia Warsaw

Groclin is very average team even at polish standards, and now they lost
coach and key player and the best striker have ofers from Hertha BSC and Cottubus
I heard that Azeri club football have alot of money is that true, Groclin budget i about 2,5 milion euro - what is a budget of MKT-Araz?

I'm quite confident Groclin will go through anyway. I know Polish teams have been disappointing in Europe in recent years, but come on, with all due respect, our football is miles better than Azeri.

Zaglebie's and GKS Belchatow's task is much more challenging.

A disaster. I witnessed things like these about 10 years ago and hoped the nightmare would never return - but it did today.

I expect the worst, that is Legia banned from eurocups for at least three years, funds for the new stadium cut down and not a penny invested in Legia by ITI any more.

Legia officials say they will do all they can to identify the bandits and punish them, legal steps are being considered.

SleepyM, what's wrong with you? Why are you laughing? It's a sad day

A very sad day.

As it's an international forum, let me just explain to outsiders that the match between Vetra Vilnus and Legia Warsaw in the Intertoto Cup was abandonned at half-time due to riots caused by the Polish "fans".

They were attacking police. Police should use a real ammo in that situation. I have enough of this things.

MKT-Araz budget is at least 5 million dollars - could be even more. Yes, it's true that clubs have a lot of money, although I haven't seen any positive results yet. By the way, our champions - FK Lenkoran (budget - 15 million dollars) have played a friendly match with Polish champions Zaglebie and the game finished 2-2, although Azeri team was leading 2-0 after first half. Therefore, I think that the difference of our clubs' levels are not that huge, at least it should not be compared to national teams of both countries

Of course a stupid question, but what was their motive, did they have one?

They did. I see three motives:

a. Their team was losing at half-time to a very weak opponent.
b. Their relations with Legia Warsaw owners have been bad for a long time, so they don't care about the club's image.
c. They are idiots.

C is the most important. Actually, this is the only reasonable motive.

At the press conference Legia board announced they break off cooperation with the official supporters' association and impose on fans a three-year ban from away games.
