ECQ 2008: Belgium - Poland

Difficult match before us, we need to shiw that victory over Portugal wasn't only one time accident. Wojciech Kowalewski won't play because of yellow cards, probably Boruc or Kuszczak will replace him.

Here's pre-squad for Belgium

Bramkarze: Artur Boruc (Celtic FC, Szkocja), Tomasz Kuszczak (Manchester United FC, Anglia), Mariusz Pawełek (Wisła Kraków).

Obrońcy: Michał Żewłakow (Olympiakós SFP, Grecja), Marcin Baszczyński (Wisła Kraków), Jacek Bąk (Al-Rayyan, Katar), Paweł Golański (Korona Kielce), Marcin Wasilewski (Lech Poznań), Grzegorz Bronowicki (Legia Warszawa), Krzysztof Łągiewka (Krylja Sowietow Samara, Rosja).

Pomocnicy: Radosław Sobolewski (Wisła Kraków), Mariusz Lewandowski (Szachtar Donieck, Ukraina), Euzebiusz Smolarek (BV Borussia 1909, Niemcy), Jacek Krzynówek (VfL Wolfsburg, Niemcy), Jakub Błaszczykowski (Wisła Kraków), Łukasz Garguła (GKS Bełchatów), Przemysław Kaźmierczak (Boavista FC, Portugalia), Rafał Grzelak (Boavista FC, Portugalia), Piotr Giza (Cracovia).

Napastnicy: Tomasz Frankowski (CD Tenerife, Hiszpania), Maciej Żurawski (Celtic FC, Szkocja), Ireneusz Jeleń (AJ Auxerre, Francja), Radosław Matusiak (GKS Bełchatów), Grzegorz Rasiak (Southampton FC, Anglia).

Zurawski might well be doubtful for this game folks, as it looks as though he's missing Celtic's match against St Mirren tomorrow with an ankle injury.

Belgium don't seem to be as strong as they have been in recent years, but i'm expecting it to be a tight match with them having home advantage. Hopefully Polska can build on the great result against Portugal and achieve another positive result though.

Good luck.

Go Poland

"I took shrooms at a naked beach. Fat people looked like they were made out of melting wax. I thought the homos had lasers for eyes and when they checked me out I'd feel burning on my skin. That's a day I'll never forget, for sure."

Impressive Polska! As a Finnish guy I'm happy that we played against you during the first qualification round because you're improving rapidly. Beenhakker's new tactics weren't entirely adapted by your side in september, but now the pressing style and deadly counter-attacks are working as they should. Ebi and Boruc made the biggest difference between the two teams yesterday.

Great to have a live feed too Just when I started the stream they scored Good work on those counter attacks. Belgium team was dangerous near the end, thank goodness for Boruc.
Hope they continue to work hard on improvements.
