I don't think Wisla will get that for Cantoro. Today's transfer market is not "generous".

By the way, anything new on the alleged €2m bid from Legia?

I heard it was only 1mil Euros...

Anyways, Wisla would never accept a bid from Legia for Cantoro 1. Since they're rivals and 2. Since Cantoro is arguably the best mid in Poland

Szymkowiak's going to Turkish side Trabzonspor for about 0,8m Euro. I don't understand why he choose this league and why Wisla agreed to sell him for this ridiculous price (although Basalaj says the fee is going to be slightly bigger than media report).

'Yeah, Moe, that team sure did suck last night. They just plain sucked! I've seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked!'

Yes, 0.8 mln € is not much for "Szymek" and taking this into consideration I can't understand why Zurawski bid was rejected as it was comparatively equally (un)attractive. No logic. No consistence. One Basalaj

Zurawski wont be sold to Trabzonspor despite they have reached an agreement with Wisla regarding the transfer fee. The problem was Trabzonspor couldn't provide bank guarantee to secure the money transfer.

As a fan of Legia I can't say I wasn't hoping for Zurawski to leave. As a supporter of Polish NT I think a move to Trabzon was never a good idea.

Zurawski may be disappointed, but I don't think it will affect his form in the spring round.

One thing I don't understand is that game played by Wisla's board.

Anything new about Cantoro and a possible transfer away from Wisla? (Yes, I know that the transfer window now is closed until 1 July.)

Neither have I but you're wrong RosenborgFan, the transfer window both in Poland and Scandinavia closes at the end of February. With Szymkowiak having been sold to Turkey, Cantoro transfer seems highly unlikely though.

Krylia Sovietow are said to consider this purchase.

Yea, I saw this rumor a couple days ago, I don't think it'll happen. With Cupial not going to sell the club, I bet Franek stays.

BTW: there's also a rumor that Uche will be back during the summer. He's done nothing at Bordeaux.

Wisla loans Czech right back Vlastimil Vidlička from Tescoma Zlín. Another signing is Portuguese right wing Jean Paulista from Club da Maia - he will join Wisla in July. Kalu Uche will return from loan (Bordeaux).

Another important news - Cupial says he will stay in Wisla unless he finds a good purchaser.

Wisla are looking to sign Vladimir Smicer from Liverpool at the end of the season

That'd be a major coup of they can pull it off

Wisla Krakow shirt

Just to change the subject slightly, I went to Krakow recently, but had to rush off before I had time to get myself a Wisla Krakow shirt. Do you know anywhere where I might be able to get one? Unfortunately, I don't know any polish, so can't make head or tail of any of the polish websites.

Any ideas, anyone?

Smivs, you can try to look for it on ebay. There's an online shop on the official Wisla website (wisla.krakow.pl) but the shippment covers Poland only.

Just watch out on ebay, this dude Legiafan1 chargers an arm and a leg for Wisla shirts, I saw he had a starting bid at $99 for a replica long sleeve one. It's from the 02/03 season as well.

I got the same shirt on ebay for $75.

Wisla jerseys are very hard to find as well...

Wisla Krakow shirt

Thanks,

I'll keep an eye out on ebay. If I can't find it for a reasonable price, I might just have to go back to Poland and get one there. Hey, I just want an excuse to go back there. Krakow is such a cool city...
