Spain-Ireland (Thursday 20:45 CET)

Let's start this already

Spain's line-up will probably be the same that played vs Italy except the striker, though Del Bosque hasn't confirmed anything yet.

As I said in another thread, if Spain cannot beat Ireland they don't deserve to advance.

Signature in 2012: Torres, por el bien de España, y por no tener a todo el país odiandote, por favor, vete ya

Even with a draw Spain can still qualify if they win Croatia in the 3rd game.

Anyway I predict a 3-0 for us.

If we don't get a convincing win in this one, we don't even deserve to be playing the Euro.

Dont be surprised by a draw after a serious parking the bus job...

God, I hope we can get a draw here and Italy beat the Croats. From past Irish teams I would say this could happen but this team is not like past teams. McClean and Hunt should play.... but they won't. Trap won't change.

The Irish gave the bagpipes to the Scots as a joke, but the Scots haven't seen the joke yet.

Should be 3x0, provided Torres scores.

Ireland have a pathetic defense

How many games have you seen? They defense is not that bad. Last time I looked Brazil let in 4 goals in their last game.

Our problem is our midfield does not control anything ( by choice of the manager) and that our forwards struggle.

Given was not 100% last game. If Given and Dunne are fit we have a chance, if not well....let's hope they're ok.

Keane or Doyle? Who will score?

I saw the last game and they looked shaky.

Brazil's defense has played 1 professional game in the last 6 months. They were literally amateurs till last year and faced Messi + Aguero. Argentina din't do more than its obligation.

Ah ok, you saw one game. Good idea to make a judgement then.

I want Ireland to win.

Just find it really hard that they will, by the way they played in the first game

I put a bet on Ireland to draw with Spain and to go through. Needless to say the odds are pretty good.

The Irish gave the bagpipes to the Scots as a joke, but the Scots haven't seen the joke yet.

I'm rooting for Ireland. I always like them as a kid. A nice upset would be great right about now, but I think the Spanish are just too strong. Feels like they should beat them comfortably.

P.S

A bet for the first red card in the tournament might be of good value.
