France to win the euro?

A very talented squad with a manager who has been successful in getting the players to play together, for me France is one of the big favorites to win the euros, what do you guys think?

I'd rate them as 4th after Germany, Spain and Holland. So yeah they do have a good shot at it. Depends on how good Ribery is or rather how effective he is.

And I am growing tired of telling people that their is a Euro forum.
I know WFF is to discuss anything related to the football but posters understand.

Nope.

Not with that central defence and I hear Koscielny is an option at DM. No slight on Kos but that is not his position and even if M'Vila was fit and ready to play he is a pup in that certain position and is still learning his trade.

They appear to be a candidate to win it, but apperances can be deceiving. In any case there are a few I'd rate higher(Spain, Holland, Germany)

As said previously it will be a France VS Portugal final, with France nipping Portugal.

The Boss has to play in defence! Take out one of Mexes or Rami and play him there. There has to be a viable holding midfielder in the whole of France.

Red is a pleasant colour

I don't understand the talk of Koscielny being played at DM. Looking at their squad they have Alou Diarra, Cabaye and Matuidi who can all play a midfield sitting role if M'Vila is not available, Alou Diarra the more defensive of the three, and as you say I think France's central defence would be improved with Koscielny breaking up the Mexes and Rami partnership but Blanc may be looking at continuity in those positions

The ultimate dark horse?

Can they be qualified as a dark horse? I mean, France has a pedigree... world champs and euros champs and all. Quality players, but always a mystery team.

I don't like their squad of attacking mids and benzema. It's tons of individual talent but not sure they can combine well. Do they have a general like Zidane was to make it all click?

And don't like a duo with Mexes but we'll see, he is still okay..

I feel Benzema will have a breakout tournament. About time his talent gets recognized by the masses.
