NL - nothing has changed. Ok Van Bommel is captain. Van Bronckhorst has now retired and we're not sure yet who will become the new LB but to be honest, it's the same team. More will depend on whether the same group can keep up the same level of commitment for club and country. Good to see Huntelaar and vd Vaart move btw.

Sweden - Ibrahimovic + ? Wonder how good Emir Bajrami will turn out to be.

Finland - Litmanen is still around Definitely need some new faces though.

Hungary - they will miss Erwin

Moldova - all about the Sheriff there

San Marino - Andy Selva is still around

Holland and Sweden for me. Would be really surprised if Sweden didn't make it.

Ibrahimović and Toivonen supported by..Anders Svensson

Sweden have been playing well in their preparation matches, changed their approach and are currently more offensive minded. Building on the U21-success from 2009.

My votes went to Holland & Sweden. Holland are favorites for the first spot and deserved so I must say. Sweden will be our main rival though and are good enough themselves to beat all the other teams in this group with ease. The question is not really who will qualify but which team will score the most goals versus the mighty San Marino. Friday will be the first test for them/us.

Indeed.. Hamrén is twice the coach of Lagerbäck if friendlies is anything to go by.

Anders Svensson - I never could have guessed he would play as good as he has lately.. I have been screaming for years to get rid of him. A pity he is so old though, it's not really ideal to include a 34 year old in a qualifying squad.

Very pleased with the success from the new players from u21 nt too. I'm rather worried about our aging centre defence, though..

Guess this has been the most unanimous group. Holland and Sweden to go through unless something drastic happens. Finland has improved a lot and Hungary made a very good campaign, but aren`t good enough to take Holland and the Swedes.

Finland and Hungary both had good qualifying campaigns for the WC, didn't quite make it but it would be unwise to underestimate them, I think.

I think easy grp for Netherlands and Sweden. Maybe Finland can upset Sweden but very unlikely.

Moldova - Finland 0-0 HT

I was expecting something like this. Hyypiäs redcard was right decision.

Hopefully they get Litmanen out and Lampi in so after the break we can play with this lineup:

--------------------Eremenko jr.----------------------
Porokara-----Sparv----------Eremenko------Johansson
Moisander---Heikkinen-------Pasanen---------Lampi

Sweden vs Hungary 0-0 HT

Some good moments(Ibrahimovic's passes & flicks) and some bad(Hungary counters)

I think we will win this eventually, but we have to be careful with Hungary's counters..

Sweden vs Hungary 2-0 FT

Wernblom x2. Although I think Zlatan was our best player, a pity he didn't get any goals.

Second goal shouldn't have been allowed, there was a shove from Ibra. But it didn't really change anything, we deserved the win.

There is a chance of it. We are still in the beginning.

Some could say it is strange, but I was surprised by Finlands loss to Moldova.
