- England. Can Lampard please be benched?

- Switzerland. Annoying side for anyone as the Spanish will prove to testify. Can on their day beat anyone 1-0. Wonder if they have some more exciting youngsters though.

- Bulgaria. The new Berbatov vs John Terry?

- Wales. Bale + 10 ?

- Montenegro - Vucinic, Vukčević and others. They´re not bad.

Still think the first two will be too strong

Very important first two games for England and that with quite a few players out IIRC

I voted for England and Switzerland, but it is a tricky group. There aren`t easy opponents here and if the English want to go to be sade they must take all games seriously.

Its going to be a giant suprise as Bulgaria goes trough. Stoilov gets Bilic-effect to his NT. England fails with Capello, and he gets replaced by Hodgson in summer.

England to finish first, with Switzerland and Montenegro fighting for second spot. I think Montenegro has a decent side that make cause problems for both England and Switzerland.

Bulgaria to make other teams work hard for a result but at the end i don't think they will qualify.

Berbatov retaire right?

Imagine Montenegro finished second!

Shame Jovetic is injured.

Exactly. This group is very tricky, it seems easy, but at the same time all teams have chances with England of course being touted as first place.

I feel Montenegro could be a NT to surprise here and finish second.
They were the NT that all teams didn`t want to pay against from the pot 5 they were placed in and we are beginning to understand why. This game in Sofia against Bulgaria should be interesting.

England & Switzerland shouldn't have much problems in this group.

Welsh getting hissy about losing to a nation "who have only won one competitive match". Nevermind that they have players like Vucinic and Jovetic. They only have a low coefficient as they're a new nation.

Can they keep this up and qualify?

Yeah

Pretty impressive btw. They only have 670000 inhabitants.
Pound for pound, pretty neat.

Oh yes they can. And I wouldn`t be surprised if they qualified. I am suprised with Bulgarias bad form though.

Nothing surprising in our bad form, the few really good players we've had in the last decade are getting older, the biggest star (Berbatov) retired from the NT. The local league keeps getting worse and not producing good players and the FA chairman is more concerned with getting his son into a starting spot in the NT than in doing anything to help produce more talented Bulgarian players.

Too bad. Wish you guys better days in a near future

But why is the local league getting worse? Many foreigners? Or no money?

I "love" how Welsh fans/former players say its a disgrace to lose to Montenegro, they are a better team than most teams in Pots 3/4. Only reason why they are ranked so low is they only played about 15-20 competitive matches.

Second place will come down to them and Switzerland I think

Both.... In addition the stadium and infrastructure is very old and outdated.
