Asia teams in 2008 Olympics

So, here's the draw for Men's football. Looks like it doesn't look so good for 3 far east Asia teams(Korea, Japan, China).

China got pretty good draw than other two, but it still looks difficult for them to advance to next round. Japan is pretty bad, also. IMO, Korea can beat Honduras, but Italy and Cameroon is tough opponent. Their fate will be decided in game against Cameroon.

GROUP A: Ivory Coast, Argentina, Australia and Serbia

GROUP B: Netherlands, Nigeria, Japan and USA

GROUP C: China, New Zealand, Brazil and Belgium.

GROUP D: Korea, Cameroon, Honduras and Italy

We miss Guus Hiddink days... But we need to move on for better future.

Any special players coming from the current China, Japan, Korea under 23 generation btw?

Normally I'd say we should be able to cruise through our Nigeria, Japan and USA group but just basing that on reputation and not knowing specifically what the others have in store for you, I guess it's a dangerous thing to say.

Lex Immers - Pace & power. Holland's #1 box to box player

Feyenoord forum - the place to talk about this phenomenon

In Korea, about 4~5 players also plays for NT. Foward Chu-Young Park(FC Seoul) maybe the biggest star players among them. In fact, he was rumoured to move to PSV, one time.

Our olympic team coach Sung-Hwa Park said that he is satisfied with the draw, while most pundits say that it will be difficult to advance to next round.

I don't know much about China or Japan. well, Japan's winger Koki Mizuno who moved Celtic FC, caught my eyes when he played against us.

Seolkihyun, you are so fast!I intended to post this thread~
From the draw,we can see we China is in a better group.Cause except Brazil,Belgium and
New Zealand are not strong teams, even New Zealand is made of some college students!
Amphitryon is always lucky.
It's very very difficult for you,Italy and Cameroon, awesome teams. If breakout is possible, you must make Goal difference as many as possible against Honduras, and hope any of those two other teams make mistakes, don't forget Iraq on 2004.They did well!
And Japan, they should buy return tickets ahead.Don't mention Netherlands, Nigeria. They are top teams,I want to see how Japanese deal with USA,USA is also a capable team.Anyone shouldn't ignore them.

bankrupt again?????????????
