Only 5 from Qatar?

It's more like 3/4 of their squad.

Are you talking about players of foreign ancestry or naturalised players?

He is talking about both according to his first sentence.

Effectively half of the current Singapore NT - there's another Englishman who has recently got citizenship. We've had Brazilians and Croatians in the past too.

And they wonder why I'm a Singaporean but do not support the Singapore NT.

Because they're naturalised Frenchmen and ours isn't.

Ever heard of the infamous "foreign talent" scheme in Singapore?

Adel Lami was born and raised in Kuwait, but he's none-nationalist, what is called Bedon in Kuwait, and he's Eritrean passport is a way to over come such problem.

Bahrain have two Nigerian players I think the names are Jissy John and Abdullah Fatai.
