Aren't they a dominant team in Indonesia? You often see them as your representatives.

Not really, Indonesian football league is a weird one. Every season has new club as its champion. Only one club won it twice as far as I remember and the other are totally different clubs.

FYI, other Indonesian team in this competition, Arema Malang supposed to compete in last year CL instead of this year's CL. The reason their participation got cancelled by AFC was because Indonesian FA ridiculously 'forgot' to submit the player roster to AFC before cut-off time. This resulted a serious demonstration by Arema fans and our FA was forced to make them CL participant instead of whatever their national result in 2006.

Our FA is a joke and not more than just corruptors and useless people.
This is what I got when I checked their website today :

Don't worry Zhuge, Persik Kediri will pick up some points along the way, you should hear some of the things we say about Sydney in our forum.

what do u say about Syd? Persik Kediri was crap, very amateur type team, especially when i saw them play against Syd at Parramatta Stadium, arguing amongst each other, running with the ball out :/ got no idea how Syd lost to them in Indonesia, but then again the Japs drew with them away too, must of been the climate out there or something.

Sydney did alright, though didn't show a lot of aggression in their last game against Urawa Reds, but considering Urawa Reds spend ten times more then Sydney FC on transfers and Sydney did give them a run for their money, especially when they played down here, we did alright. We still remain as Australia's most successful club team on international level.
