Serbias Squad:

Goalkeepers: Dragoslav Jevric (Ancaraspor), Oliver Kovacevic (N-A).

Defenders: Mladen Krstajic (Schalke 04), Aleksandar Lukovic (Crvena zvezda), Marko Basa (Le Mans), Nenad Djordjevic (Partizan Beograd), Bojan Neziri (Volfsburg).

Midfielders: Nenad Kovacevic (Crvena zvezda Beograd), Dragan Mladenovic (Crvena zvezda Beograd), Ognjen Koroman (Terek Grozny), Zvonimir Vukic (Portsmouth), Sasa Ilic (Galatasaray), Albert Nadj (Partizan Beograd), Branko Boskovic (Troyes).

Forwards: Mateja Kezman (Atletico Madrid), Danijel Ljuboja (VFB Stuttgart), Nikola Zigic (Crvena zvezda Beograd), Savo Milosevic (Osasuna).

7 First choice players are missing. This is a very young squad, a few players come from last yrs U-21 Silver Winnig team(Marko Basa and Bojan Neziri).

Ilija Petkovic (Ilija Petković) the Serbian-Montenegrin national team coach who led the Blues to the direct qualification for the 2006 World Cup has called up eighteen players this Saturday who will have to answer the invitation and defend their national colours at Far East where China and South Korea are eagerly awaiting to see weather they can score a goal against the selection who has conceded just one goal during the Group stage qualifiers in the European Zone.

Goalkeepers: Dragoslav Jevric (Ancaraspor), Oliver Kovacevic (N-A).

Defenders: Mladen Krstajic (Schalke 04), Aleksandar Lukovic (Crvena zvezda), Marko Basa (Le Mans), Nenad Djordjevic (Partizan Beograd), Bojan Neziri (Volfsburg).

Midfielders: Nenad Kovacevic (Crvena zvezda Beograd), Dragan Mladenovic (Crvena zvezda Beograd), Ognjen Koroman (Terek Grozny), Zvonimir Vukic (Portsmouth), Sasa Ilic (Galatasaray), Albert Nadj (Partizan Beograd), Branko Boskovic (Troyes).

Forwards: Mateja Kezman (Atletico Madrid), Danijel Ljuboja (VFB Stuttgart), Nikola Zigic (Crvena zvezda Beograd), Savo Milosevic (Osasuna).

By the looks of it Petkovic wont be able to count on six first eleven players for his Asian tour considering except Krstajic the whole defensive line is missing, Goran Gavrancic, Ivica Dragutinovic and Nemanja Vidic are all left out while Milan Dudic the first substitute is getting married. From the players called up the young Crvena zvezda’s offensive wing back Aleksandar Lukovic is of a great quality while the biggest mistake is the call up of Partizan’s Nenad Djordjevic.

In the midfield the Blues are without Inter Milan’s Dejan Stankovic then Olympiacos Athens playmaker Predrag Djordjevic and Shakhtar’s main engine Igor Duljaj. So Petkovic will try to compensate the link with Mladenovic in for Stankovic, Vukic or Ilic instead of Djordjevic while Albert Nadj is guaranteed to take Duljaj’s place.

So only the goal line where Dragoslav Jevric is probably going to stay the Nb.1 choice for a long time, and the offensive frontline are whole. Since Ljuboja is in a super form lately it would be logical to see him in the first eleven line up but Kezman and Zigic are most likely to start the match.

The Blues are scheduled to play against China on 13th November while South Korea will host their duel three days later.
