regional national cups

can Iraq participate in 2 Asian regional cups now?
West Asian Football Championship and Gulf Cup


there is no Central Asian Football Championship. will they organise?


I heard that Australia will participate in next East Asian Football Championship. How many places in Final tournament then?

the EAFF now have 9 members~ top 3 of this years competetion: China, Japan and North Korea enters the 2007 competition automatic, while South korea, Hongkong, Taipei, macau, Mongolia and Guam will have to play a qualification tournament, Rumor says that Australia will Join EAFF in 2006, In that case the Final tournament will enlarge to 6 teams, Australia will play the qualification tournament together with other six teams, seven teams will be seperated to 2 groups, Champions of each group will enter the final stage while the two runner-ups to compete for another place, so the final tournament will have six teams.

Australia and Thailand in SEA U-20 tournament

HANOI: Vietnam will host a quadrangular Southeast Asian U-20 Football Tournament from September 13-17 with the participation of Malaysia, Thailand and Australia.


The competition will be important preparation for all four teams who have qualified for the AFC Youth Championship which takes place in India from October 29-November 12.


Thailand clash with Australia while Malaysia take on the hosts on the opening day.


Fixtures

September 13: Thailand vs Australia, Malaysia vsVietnam

September 15: Australia vs Vietnam, Malaysia vs Thailand

September 17: Vietnam vs Thailand, Malaysia vs Australia
