Wc 2006

Group B is definitely tougher. Iran - Japan is gonna be a classic.

What do you think?

Group A:

Korea Republic
Saudi Arabia
Uzbekistan
Kuwaiy

Group B:

Japan
Iran
Bahrain
DPR Korea

overall, I think it's good draw for Korean Republic team.

First, we avoided Iran who beat us in Asian Cup.
Second, We avoided N.Korea. I believe we are better than N.Korea, but as you all know, there are always politics involved if we meet N.Korea.

However, we met Saudi Arabia, who are traditional competitors in Asia. And Kuwait is not easy opponent for us. They're the only Asia country whose head to head record is better than us. Uzbekistan have serious defense line, since our attackers looks doubtful, it's not gonna be easy.

Group B definitely interesting. No one really knows what N.Korea will do.

Seolkihyun, what does DPR stand for? They don't call them North Korea anymore?

Bahrain and N.Korea are stronger than Kuwait and Uzbekistan. And I think Saudi Arabia isn't still as good as Iran. But they are always dangerous.

DPRK and N.Korea same country...though DPRK is the 'official' name of N.Korea.

Democratic People's Republic of Korea = N.Korea
Republic of Korea = S.Korea.
