How many Asian club football competitions are available?

Anyone knows how many inter-club cups played in the Asian club football scene? Where do I get info on these competitions, if there are any sources?

Really need this info, thanks for reading.

Just one, the Asian Champions League.

There used to be the Asian Champions Cup, Asian Cup Winners Cup and Asian Super Cup, but the first two were merged together to make the Champions League, and the Super Cup ended.

Try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_F..._Confederation for info.

Of course, I should have said two.

The AFC Champions League is for the "Top 14" Asian Confederations.

The AFC Cup is for everyone else.

Like Holyjoe said, there's a 2 tier system in place from last year.

The 2004 Asian CL is at the semi final stage, whose first leg fixtures are to be played next tuesday/wednesday.

AFC Cup is for next 14 in line

The last 17 do not have International Club competition yet but starting next year there is the Presidential Cup for them but not sure if it is for clubs or NT

Looks like there are going to be two new competitions for the "emerging nations":

An annual "AFC President's Cup" club competition starting in 2005
A bi-annual "AFC Champions Cup" national team tournament starting in 2006

Nations included:
Afghanistan, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Guam, Kyrgyzstan,
Laos, Macao, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Philippines,
Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Tajikistan.
