Quetzalcoatl v Sweet Daddy Dee
Quetzalcoatl finally broke his duck in emphatic fashion with a 3-0 win over TGO last weekend. He'll be hoping to push up the table, but he's up against a team who took a point from this fixture last season. Sweet Daddy Dee lost his last two games against the current top two and he'll also have a tough away game in Europe to worry about.
The Green One v Mutu
With Quetz seemingly over his early season lull, both these sides will be feeling the pressure. A draw here could see both finish the week in the bottom three, so they'll be desperate to leave with all 3 points. TGO has struggled for goals, so he'll be looking for Nicolas Anelka to start showing a more selfish side in front of goal. With Gullermo Franco and a fit-again Yakubu joining in-form Carlton Cole, Mutu's strike force is looking a real threat.
JD v Ghost World
The visitors gave league leader JD a helping hand last week by beating The Judge, but don't expect any favours when they meet. JD will be hoping to record a sixth league win against a side he failed to score against last campaign. Ghost World will be looking to establish himself a title contender, but Drogba and Agbonlahor will have to beat the league's most miserly back four - JD's defence has let in only four goals all season.
Hunter Lionheart v mutu1875
With tough fixtures for the team's above him, mutu1875 knows that an away win could launch him into the top four. His side will be buoyed by memories of a 3-0 result in this game last year, though Hunter went one better in the reverse fixture. Cesc Fabregas has been in fine form for the home side, while the visitors can welcome back Jermain Defoe after his suspension.
The Judge v Jibril
The Judge might see this as the perfect fixture from which to bounce back from last week's defeat, but the two encounters between this sides last season finished in goalless stalemates. October's Player of the Month Robin Van Persie has scored five in six, while Jibril will be hoping to have Emmanuel Adebayor back to provide a serious goal threat at the other end.
Est1975 v SM Online
The home side have slipped into the bottom half of the table, but only 3 poitns separate 8th from 3rd. He hasn't won since Gameweek 2, but a victory here could propel him back into the top 6. Last season saw this game finish 0-0, but Est1975 recorded a 4-0 win in the away game. He faces an SMO team that has conceded more than any team in the league and whose fate may depend on the fitness of Fernando Torres.
Note: Don't forget
there are also Europa League
and Champions League
games this week.
