Contract Renewal/ Transfer Renewal expiry

Ok one area that remains a bit debatable is the expiry of mid-season contract renewals or acquisitions. Many may argue that if a player is given a contract renewal of 3 years in a winter window, it should expire 3 seasons down in the winter transfer window. Whilst others may argue that a contract given in the transfer window should expire in the summer window, so essentially a three year contract issued in a winter transfer window should expire in 2.5 years (summer transfer window).

Personally I have no preference for either model, but would like the 12 managers to vote and if there's a tie, I will decide.

I thought contracts that were extended in winter tended to be for x and a half years anyway?

Leave it as summer I say.

I have no sig. If anybody would like to make me one, please inform me
