Mutu do you fancy forfeiting? I haven't had a win in the last few games and it would be nice to get one this week p

Team:

Reina

Behrami - Rio - JT - A.Cole

Mikel - Anderson

Arteta - Tuncay

Bent - Santa Cruz

Bench: Coloccini, Zuiverloon, Valero, Elano, Saha

What's the chances West Ham can keep a cleensheet for 2 matches running? Not likely I reckon but I can also see Stoke scoring against West Brom so I have put Behrami in. I'm hopeful about this weekend, I can see my players doing something. Too bad JT only ever seems to score for England.

Subject to change but for the moment I think I'm going to park the bus in front of goal. JD's defensive players are just too good to make me think I can win:

What I mean is I can't see me getting 20 points against JD whatever line up I play, so I may as well just play for the draw.

Though I may have a change of heart between now and Saturday.

mutu1875 i think your playing the better tactic, you are playing to reduce his points as much as possible because your attack does not have the strength to eat is crazy defence.

Agreed, thats what killed me against him. I scored plenty of points, and would have actually won the game if Chelsea had conceded, but as he took 12 points off me I went from 3-2 to 0-2. His defence is insane.

yeah its my biggest problem. my attack generally always does well but my defence is so horrendous and the fact of the 4 squad defenders only one is a starter at a midtable club really hampers me. the more you play this game, the greater experience you get at tactics of this. its hard to discover the difference of this and football tactics. but there is a way to play this game and to yuor strengths or countering your opponents strengths. over time you guys will be more flexible with tactics and your teams.

I'm lucky that I have a good attack. Anelka, Rooney and Malouda are pretty much all I need. I can afford to play defencively and still score goals.

I'm not so sure, it would be very easy for Defoe to put a few past Hull so I reckon it will be tight. Of course it will most likely come down (as always) to the amount of cleansheets that I can get as my attack lets me down way to often. On the surface I have lots pf potential up front but half the time key players are injured. Anyway, best of luck.

And that was actually a bad day for my defence. p

But seriously I have to ask, what's going on with Elano? Has he not been playing well for City lately or is it just a clash of personalities with Hughes? I certainly think he's been played out of position this year due to Ireland's (I hate that guy) remarkable form and Robinho. But I find it crazy how he can start (and score) for Brazil but not get a game for you guys. What's the story?

I think I got something like 40 points against JD but every one of his defensive players kept clean sheets so we ended up drawing 0-0.

Elano isn't starting because he happens to play for a club which has loads of brilliant attacking midfielders.
