Tough prediction for next season especially in the top scorer issue so i will make a preview before my guesses.

Maccabi Tel Aviv will fight for the title with Maccabi Haifa. Kiriat Shmona wonīt be able to keep its momemtum but wonīt suffer against relegation.

If Hapoel Tel Aviv manages to take this mess out of the way and organize decently they could be at the top but wonīt win the title.

The cup is completely unpredictable and anything could happen but Hapoel seems to like this competition

Beitar will surprise positvely.

My doubt is regarding Netanya and Bnei Yehuda.
Tal Banin assumed the club and IMO is a very good coach that if manages to build a good squad could prove to be a dangerous team for the big ones.
Bnei Yehuda kept their base but brought in Kashtan who despite all the success had a certain turmoil period at the club in the past.
Both will be in Europa League BTW.

Probably I will commit a lot of mistakes but my top three in the league are a bit nostalgic since it was on this order that Maccabi Tel Aviv last conquered a title.:smileani:

That photo finish of the season was incredible. Three teams with the same number of points in the final round.

Good times

BTW, I presume that we shouldnīt even disucuss Avi Nimni over here?

you dont like him or what?
Avi is the best guy i know, he cares about every fan of maccabi, even now, his an amazing person and the best player of maccabi in all times (most goals, most asissts)
unfortantly he wasnt a good enough coach, but who cares, weve passed it.

No what i meant was that in the time of the last title unfortunately there was that "problem" with Klinger and with Banin that until today it is not certain what really happen.

I also believe Nimni was the best player to wear the Maccabi jersey, not only for his class but for also for his love for the club and leadership. (of course i canīt judge and compare with players i havenīt seen, for example the Maccabi team that won many title in the 50īs and 60īs etc...)

The only issue is that some confused Nimni with Maccabi some years ago. So they didnīt contest some decisions because of his history and made him look bigger than the club, when that happens something is wrong and that is what Goldhar in a subtle and honourable way trie to do when he arrived.

my bad for misunderstanding! anywayz, dont forget the things with banin happend in the summer after that, the big problem during that season was when klinger benched nimni and then in the 5 last games he brought him back to the 11, and nimni scored 6 goals in the last 5 matched bringing us the championship by him self.

I remember. Actually he placed Nimni because Dego got injured right? Remember that memorable game against Bnei Yehuda where he scored a wonderful strike from the edge of the area after a lob pass by Bruno Reis.

True, the problem with Banin was in the summer and with that we failed to advance in the Champions League qualifiers against Zilina. Only on the following season without Nimni and Banin we reached the Champions League.

So what is your opinion on Klinger? Must presume you donīt like him too much
But to be honest excluding the issue with Nimni he did a good job at Maccabi. He won the title (not many manage to win as a player and as a coach) led us to a historic Champions League appearance and above all he brought in many youngsters from the ranks.

Klinger of 2003 was awesome, after that ? he started being fake. i dont believe any word his saying, and dont forget between 2004-2006 make played the worst football in the world, defensive, ugly and etc.
even though we made it to the 2nd place, took the cup in 2005 it was only because of a realy weak openenets and a bit luck...

Could be but if he did an excellent job in the past it doesnīt mean all of a sudden he is crap right?

The truth is he had a lot of pressure after the incident with Nimni so he couldnīt do the job well. He started to be afraid of losing his post and played a "safe game" being more defesive and of course the team ended up playing a certain way of "Israeli catenaccio".

Yeah, heads up, new cycle. Really anxious to see Oscar Garciaīs new Maccabi. We must have patience in the beggining but if we manage a good training camp with him I really believe we could take the title.

I'm gonna wait to make my predictions until the end of the summer, looks like alot of players will be moving.

But on the other hand if you win something you will get a big prize eh? (normally this is what crosses the mind of people who play in cassinos)
