Dror Kashtan to coach Bnei Yehuda!

Bnei Yehuda announced today that Dror Kashtan will coach the club next season. This means that Guy Luzon will afterall assume the U-19 NT.

Good signing, if Bnei Yehuda wins the cup or reaches the final against Hapoel Tel Aviv they play in Europe next season and with Kashtan they could surprise.

Well it doesn't say much about Kashtan, Bnei Yehuda is the best club that would hire him? I don't know how much more he can get out of that squad. Guy Luzon has done a great job with the players that were given to him, If you remember they were almost relegated the season right before he took over.

In terms of talent, Bnei Yehuda is not the best and scary, but also not the worst. Their main strength is their tactical rate which is good and that made them have a decent campaign in Europa League this season.

Two players that were rumoured to leave were Atar and Mori, but maybe with the arrival of Kashtan they could stay longer and it all depends if they manage to reach Europe next season.

Kashtan wouldn´t agree any simple deal, he obviously set some conditions in order to assume Bnei Yehuda, which includes to keep most of the current squad.

This is the biggest club he could reach. Maybe Beitar would be an option if he had more patience, don´t know if Amsalem will continue.

The other big teams have all confirmed their current coaches for next season.

Kashtan and B. Yehuda is a good match....

It seems like they can do real well and even surprise in the League. Possibly get some quality players as well...

They will need to buy good players because their key players are leaving. Haifa is keen on buying Atar already this summer. Bnei Yehuda are asking for one million dollars, thought they would ask for more, maybe if it was for an European team they would probably do that

Do they have a good youth system that Kashtan can exploit?

I wonder if he will be jeered because of what he did in the NT

Well, we can´t judge Kashtan´s career only for his campaign as Israeli head coach. He had contested lineups and approach to the games, but we can´t forget he is a winner in Israeli football.

It is much harder to succeed at NT level and especially with Israel NT, since we all know how tough it is to qualify.

I won´t say Bnei Yehuda will win the title, but certainly they will be a tough team to beat.
