I dont think Beitar were that good having a lot of trouble in the first half, and showing supiriority only in the last 30 minutes when Beer-Sheva were falling of their feet.

In the second half we see the difference between Ligat Ha`Al teams and lower leagues: the latter get really tired, but this type of competition if you are not focused it is normal to see surprises. There are always a cinderella team.

Thought you would like to get Maccabi Yaffo. This will be like a neighborhood party for them, their stadium is really close to Bloomfield, plus Abuksis played there last season, don´t know what happened with this season.

Yes, certainly they are the cinderella so far, but i really doubt they could deal with Hapoel Tel Aviv. If it was Ashkelon or Lod maybe there would be a possibility.

From a team that plays in Europa League to Liga Bet there is a big difference.

Very true, but remember Leeds United(3rd tier) beat Manchester United, not to long ago, so anything can happen between M.Yaffo and H.tel Aviv.

The State Cup is a very entertaining competition because of these surprises and results. Even though since 2003/2004 when Sakhnin beat Hapoel Haifa in the final, we don´t have "surprise" winner. Of course we had Herzliya and Ashkelon participating in the finals in the following years, but in the last five years the State Cup has been in the hands of three clubs only> Hapoel Tel Aviv, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem.

Maccabi Haifa´s last cup title was in 1998.

As far as I know the game will be held at Teddy. Guess Beitar wouldn´t like to lose home advantage in an important clash like this one.
