What will be the outcome of the Haifa derby?

vs.

Venue: Kiriat Eliezer

Kickoff: Monday, December 28th, 20:00

Finally the Haifa derby returns to top flight. We will have an intresting game. The Greens are in first place and want to close the first half of the season in good style and keeping the nine point lead over Hapoel (Hapoel has still a game to play againsty Acco). The sharks return to Ligat Ha´Al and the players and motivated to paint the city in red. Hapoel Haifa comes from two straight victories.

Who will take the Haifa derby?

The derby promises to be very hot, not only because it is the first one after four years, but also because set of fans from both teams have began a cybernetic war. Hapoel fans entered on the Maccabi website and the day after it was time for the opposing fans to do the same.:rollani:

Let´s see what will happen in the pitch.

The derby ended 1-0 in favour of Maccabi Haifa. It was a really hot derby, the fans were in great atmosphere, but also in a very tense one. There 11 yellow cards throughout the match.

The green side of Haifa continues its firm direction to another title, while the red side is struggling in mid table position and could see its top playoff aspirations crumble.

Good game from both teams, Maccabi Haifa was the better side, and I don't think I have ever seen a ref add 4 minutes of Extra-time in the first half.
