Beitar Jerusalem News and Rumours

Barak Itzhaki, Aviram Baruchyan and Idan Tal have all agreed to cut their wages in 50%.

Arik Benado didn´t agree and his departure from the club is iminent. Maccabi Tel Aviv are already keeping an eye in case the veteran defender leaves the capital city.

He gave up. There were rumours on a possible help from Israeli businessmen who live in the USA. But apparently Gaydamek will continue with Beitar, but won´t give the astronomic sums of the past seasons.

In other news, Shimon Guershon, Eliran Danin and Tomer Ben Yosef agreed to cut their wages in 50%.

It seems Gadymak got the Loni fever.
Wont really do anything for the club, but would treat it like a family jewel as if he really wanted to keep it...

I would have mentioned it before...
All this wage cutting in the leauge is making me a bit joyess...
Angry players? Maybe?
But the last time we were faced with such uncertainties, the little of the little did well...i recall the 2001/2002 season where a mediocre budget proved to be well off and Hapoel TA amazed us all...later M. Haifa did the same and im ure if given the chance..money is nothing to some players hearts

It seems that all this story surrounding Beitar is a punishment Gaidamek wants to make after his dissapointment regarding his failure in the elections. Now he wanted everyone to claim him back and apparently he is managing to do so.

All teams are cutting wages, but at Beitar the sums are very big, 50% is a lot. But if you take in consideration that what players earned at the club a 50% cut is still higher than what a player earns in another club. That is why many players at Beitar were convinced to make the cut. Only Arik Benado refused because his contract comparing to other top players from the squad was far lower and a 50% cut would be considerable.

Yea, but after winning the state cup in style....
We lost a European spot from his schemes.....

I mean, if he really wants the team to succeed and his name to be out there, he should have made us get back into UEFA..he didnt budge..

Petrobras is actually owned by the government, the only really big Brazilian company which is owned by the government, but it is a strtegic one.

This Jewish Brazilian guy who wanted to buy Beitar worked with jewels something like that, wasn´t it?

Joslen Maiebe, keeper from Cameroon is training with the club and is expected to sign.

We this be the first signs of a financial recovery?

Honestly, IMO i didn´t understand because Beitar has Ariel Harush , keeper of the U-21 NT and that played a couple of games last season. Besides that, Maiebe had trials with SC Ashdod and didn´t sign and only later he played for Hakoach Ramat Gan in which he couldn´t prevent them from relegating. Not very wise to fill in a foreign spot for a player who maybe won´t be a starter. Better to waste this money in keeping its best players like Benado for example who is on the verge to leave for Maccabi Tel Aviv.

i don't keep up with this ridicolous clown club but from what i see you're club is in a bit of a mess! and haifa was already there last season to laugh at you when you fell under the thin ice of gaydamaks financial support. You need something more consistent and secure (someone like yankaleh shachar )

Whats this also that i read about bruchyan might be going to play in spain according to Awat

well i think kappa, berko, and most of you know my deep hatred for beitar...i despise them more than anything...regardless, as a football fan aspect i sympathize for beitar. This guy is a real piece of shit as he played with the emotions of the fans. Recall the days when Fernandes came and brought jerome leroy! this was the time where all of us here said that beitar will dominate this league and they will raise the skil of israeli football with its competition...since then they won a title but from there had a downward spiral and i heavily rest most of the blame on this guy (who takes more interest in getting his face on camera than helpin a club progress).

Gaidamak said he will give the money on time and that Beitar will play in Ligat Ha`Al.

As i previously mentioned in other posts, IMO this is everything on purpose, both by Gaydamak and by Israeli fisco. Firstly, the billionaire had a suspicious origin of this money that wasn´t declared and the fisco went right after him. The fact he ran for mayor in Jerusalem already explains his clear intentions to become a big personality in the country, nothing better than giving parties and buying the most popular club in the country and in Jerusalem.
His dissapointment of having so few votes angered him and he declared openly that he wouldn´t put one cent anymore at Beitar and that in Israel "there are many thieves and opportunists". Now he left for Moscow, left the club with no money, made Kornfine to do miracles to convince the main players to stay and in the last minute wants to fans and everyone to call him back as the saviour.
Summing ot up. It is a mere ego matter over here:rollani:
