Slaven Billic as the next Israeli NT coach?

According to Luzon and his big mouth and Petach Tikva attitude.....it is possible.....

He stated that he can get a Coach for "Cheap" and Billic, which is phenemonal can go for under 1 Million Euros a year contract...
a stupid thing to say.... He is a great coach and i admire him alot...has a great winning average with Croatia and i dont know what they will do with him if he leaves....

Slaven has praised Israeli soccer a number of times so it would be great to see him..but Luzon is a big mouth and its not like you can sign him right then and there..... the guy introduced Europe to Croatia style of Brazilian play

Bilic is a great coach. But the truth is that he won´t leave Croatia too early. Only after the WC.
Could be an option, but don´t know if he would choose the NT, he would certainly have options from England or other big leagues.

I feel that alot of good coaches are ready to take a team or the success of a NT to a mid-tier or lower-tier country/club in order to not be name called so often in the press.

If Billic goes to a big time NT, he will be horsed around and carried in the newspaper..
If he comes to Israel or even Ireland or Georgia, than the success/failure of the NT will not depend on him, but rather will depend more on the players. After all, his credentials was success...so dont come looking for a scapegoat in page 7 of your local newspaper....

and beside...
England, France and what not are in the WC/EURO all the time.
Why not be the coach that would surprise everyone instead of having to answer ridiculous ones about why he made the team fail in the quarter-finals of the WC because of a penalty shootout...come on!!!!

From our point of view of course it is intresting Bilic to come. He has credentials, would bring strong mentality and new tactics and probably would know how to explore our best potentials. But in order for the success be complete we also need to help ourselves. Richard Nielsen came as European Champion with Denmark and had everything to succeed, but the players didn´t do their part.
