Kornfine searching new sponsors

General manager Itzik Kornfine has spoken with several Israeli and jewish businessman in order to help Beitar to overcome to financial crisis it has taken. Apparently Kornfine received an intresting news this week where 4 Israelis who live in the USA have offered help and together the sum could reach about 5 million dollars. But the businessmen have stated they do not wish to buy the club from Arkady Gaidamak. The latter has declared he won´t give any cent more for the club, after his dissapointing results in the elections for mayor of Jerusalem.

IMO, ridiculous attitude of Gaidamak who shows childish behaviour. He said the Jersualme people don´t want him so he won´t help Beitar.:rollani:

Well it was good for Beitar in one way. He will go to Russia, won´t interfere anymore in professional decisions and the youth players will get more space to play. Beitar will win the crowd again.

Arkady didnt have any real stay in Beitar since day one....nor did Lev Leviev in Hapoel TA, since he wanted bloomfield property and to move the team to another stadium..would have been nice...

We dont have any real buyers for football teams. They make money and they want to profit from the sports business.
I dont see a way to profit from the sports business. Seems ridicoulous

He earned his money and now wants to get rid of it. Sport business is a good way to "wash dirty money" and most of these billionaires began to enter game. Unfortunately that is true. Somewhile ago FIFA was taking some actions regarding this issue, but apparently it got nowhere.
