Benayoun Scores Winner for Liverpool!

Our Benayoun had done it again!

Scoring the only goal for Liverpool in a match against Real Madrid.

Good stuff from our man in the UK!

Great game by Liverpool. They came with the right tactic to Bernabeu. I have bet 0-1, but I didnt expect that Benayoun scores this goal, but they are always coincidences in football. He's been in great form the last weeks.

Benayoun is in very good form and this is very good news. A prove of this is Rafa Benitez starting Benayoun in Bernabeu and leaving him all 90 minutes. He led almost all attacks and had very good passing. He even scored in header which isn´t very common in his case.

We will have a cracker against Greece in Ramat Gan this month we need Yossi playing at his best. Good news for us.

Panathinaikos had a good result against Villarreal and Karagounis who will probably face Israel, scored a very nice goal.

I hope Kashtan mans up and starts a good lineup against Greece, instead of playing his favorites.

Benayoun is currently injured and we have to desperately hope he makes it back from his hamstring problem in time for the Greece games.

Benayoun is known for his dedication to Israel, even flying long distances for "pointless" friendlies while many other professional players would not bother. If he can play, even if it requires painkillers, he will play for sure. He MUST play, in his current form he could be decisive!

hmm, yea he will play, he was out for the game today probably as a precaution by Benitez, but Im sure he'll be fit for the game against Greece, I think Ben is fit as well now, hes recovered from that knock and he will play against Ajax tomorrow.

Benayoun will play versus Greece, no doubt about that. In other times he had a worse injury and played. Like you guys said he is dedicated for Israel and even in 50% he could be dangerous for the opponent in a moment of brilliance. Without him we lose a lot of our attacking capabilities because haven´t another playmaker in his level. Buzaglo could be the guy, but Kashtan never starts with him.

Well, no one post it here, but guess it is worthy. In the weekend Benayoun scored the winner for Liverpool at injury time to give the reds a partial lead over Manchester United which was cancelled after beating Aston Villa in a dramatic 3-2 win.

Benayoun who just some days ago was injured at the NT and only took part in 45 minutes of the game in Crete, entered second half and with a strong shot on the top corner gave the reds the win.

I would prefer Benayoun to score for us against Greece and not Liverpool.
After Man Utd won...it was sort of meaningless...

No doubt. It would be better to see Benayoun score for the NT. He did that many times already and in many situations he saved Israel. Like i said in another thread he had his best moment under Grant, he had a free role and could play at his best.

At Liverpool he is not given a free role, but Rafa Benitez knows how to use him and Yossi is very useful to the merseyside, not only scoring, but giving assists and initiating the plays.

Yossi Benayoun scored two goals today against Arsenal in a great game which ended 4-4. Yossi scored in injury time once again. This result makes things tougher for the merseyside to win the title.
Anyways Benayoun is having a great season with Liverpool.

Indeed....

I think he is getting the hang of it in Liverpool and was shown the critical position, but also was allowed to be flexibile and apply his magictouch!
