White Sox 8-10 Cleveland

I know its only opening day but playing the Tribe always counts at least imo. Its not a matter of position in the league more of a matter of pride. The game was a good and honest game of ball until the 8th inning came. Top 8- Joe Crede slides under Shoppachs attempt to tag him. Shoppach not only missed the tag but didnt have a foot on the plate to get the force out. The man in blue called Crede out. Then he calls interference on Cabrera the next play even tho he was going into the bag and the rule book even says what he did was legal. Cabrera was the only person in the entire inning who was legitimately out. The Sox wouldve scored 2 runs if not for the miscues on the part of the 2nd base and plate umps. Casey Blake then powers the Tribe in front with a 3-run double. turning a 7-7 tie into a 10-7 lead. Jermaine Dye hit a solo shot and cut it to 10-8. Bottom line that homer shouldve tied the game had these idiots got the calls right. But no the Sox went down in order. Game over. These umps need to get the boot and go work somewhere they welcome incompetence.

White Sox will be better than last season, but I can't see them topping Cleveland or Detroit

not if cleveland wins unfairly like yesterday. The Sox are an honest team as are the Tigers.
