Giants vs. Dolphins will be played at Wembley, don't know what to think about that, hopefully it doesn't break the Giants rythem because the Dolphins is another team the G-men should beat.

Also with the Cowboys having their bye week, time to put some pressure on them, though the Skins are also in the race while the Eagles are probably out of it

Dolphins to turn to Ricky?

With Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown out for the season, is there any more interest in bringing back Ricky Williams if he is reinstated by the NFL? Coach Cam Cameron still would not comment on the prospect Monday, but he might soon be forced to answer. Williams' agent, Leigh Steinberg, said Monday night he doesn't know how long it will take before the league makes a decision on Williams. It could be several weeks. But Steinberg also said, "It wouldn't surprised me if it happened this week, and it wouldn't surprise me if it happened next week. I think we're getting to the point where it's about right.'' Williams spent four months this summer at a rehabilitation clinic in Boston. That could be enough to convince the league to let him back. And if that happens, he could be ready to play soon after. Williams has been working out regularly. And while his weight is probably somewhere between 217 and 220 (his playing weight is listed at 228), Steinberg said Williams' legs remain as big as usual. Once he focuses on his upper body, he could gain a pound or more per day.

Great game beetwen Rams and Browns. The best chance for the Rams first win, on the other hand if Browns really want to go into P.O. they need to win this kind of a game.

NFL picks for Week 8

October 27, 2007
By Chris Palochko
PA SportsTicker Staff Writer

While the best bets continue to be locks (the other way), last week marked just my second winning week of the year.

Season to Date: 12-19 Best Bets: 1-6

(Home team in caps)

1. (Best Bet) CHICAGO (-5) over Detroit - In losing their last two road games, the Lions have surrendered 90 points. While the Lions will be better in this spot, the Bears may have gathered some momentum after rallying in the waning moments last week. Plus, I just can't see the Lions sweeping the Bears.

PICK: CHICAGO, 24-16

2. TAMPA BAY (-3 1/2) over Jacksonville - Quinn Gray starts at quarterback for the Jaguars. That's enough to make the Bucs the pick.

PICK: TAMPA BAY, 17-10

3. CAROLINA (+6 1/2) over Indianapolis - Going against Peyton Manning always is a risky proposition. I'll take the risk.

PICK: Indianapolis, 27-23

4. Pittsburgh at CINCINNATI (over 48) - The Bengals have no defense. The Steelers have the ability to put points up. Sounds like a winning formula.

PICK: Pittsburgh, 27-24

5. SAN FRANCISCO (+1) over New Orleans - Plenty of unrest in the Bay Area for the disappointing 49ers. If you think the Saints are back to their 2006 form, all you need to do is look at last week's struggle against woeful Atlanta.

NFL Power Rankings for Week 8

October 27, 2007
By Tom Torrisi
PA SportsTicker Pro Football Editor

(Last week's rankings in parentheses)

1. (1) New England Patriots - Refusing to yield front page to the Red Sox.

2. (2) Indianapolis Colts - Colts making road kill of AFC South foes.

3. (5) Dallas Cowboys - Notice how you never hear from T.O. the week after he scores?

4. (3) Jacksonville Jaguars - They sent an SOS call to Drew Bledsoe, but it was intercepted.

5. (4) Pittsburgh Steelers - Bullies at home, not so tough on the road.

6. (9) New York Giants - A chance to win five in a row and get mileage for trans-Atlantic flight. Does it get any better?

7. (7) Green Bay Packers - New motto for running game: Just Wynn, baby.

8. (10) San Diego Chargers - Added motivation playing for wildfire-stricken area.

9. (6) Baltimore Ravens - Ray Lewis blasts Brian Billick in his hardest hit of the season.

10. (11) Seattle Seahawks - A Josh Brown-out the only thing keeping offense moving.

11. (12) Tennessee Titans - Rob Bironas outscored 17 teams by himself last weekend. And he's a kicker.

12. (13) Denver Broncos - Answered bell in major gut-check test.

13. (8) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - How far can an offense built around Earnest Graham go?

14. (17) Chicago Bears - Brian Griese played like his dad for two minutes last week.

15. (15) Carolina Panthers - All you need to know about David Carr is 43-year-old Vinny is getting the call again.

16. (18) Kansas City Chiefs - Haven't allowed more than 20 points yet.

17. (14) Philadelphia Eagles - Flopped in major gut-check test.

18. (20) Washington Redskins - Joe Gibbs says 'Skins are probably biggest underdog in history of sports. That should build confidence.

19. (19) New Orleans Saints - A loss Sunday and the city will be forced to start paying attention to NBA.

20. (21) Detroit Lions - Walking into serious revenge game in Windy City.

21. (22) Cincinnati Bengals - Chad Johnson trade rumors a reminder of how they got the Bungles moniker.

22. (16) Arizona Cardinals - They don't play like the old Cardinals, but the results stay the same.

23. (23) Houston Texans - Sage advice: When you make a comeback like that, the idea is to win.

24. (28) Buffalo Bills - J.P. stands for Just Pulled Losman.

25. (25) Minnesota Vikings - Making Adrian Peterson the backup is brilliant ... maybe it lulls defenses to sleep.

26. (26) Cleveland Browns - Too late for Brady Quinn to petition for another year of eligibility at Notre Dame?

27. (24) San Francisco 49ers - 49er QBs have fewer total TD passes than Tom Brady has in each of his past two games. Of course, scoring's never been a problem for Brady.

28. (27) Oakland Raiders - Can it be a QB controversy if no one cares about it?

29. (29) New York Jets - Mere coincidence that they lose LB Jonathan Vilma for season days after reaching 12-year naming rights deal with Atlantic Heath?

30. (30) Atlanta Falcons - The football gods are cruel, finding ways to keep Joey Harrington as the starting QB.

31. (31) St. Louis Rams - Steven Jackson's return could give Rams a pulse - albeit a faint one.

32. (32) Miami Dolphins - Nowhere to go but up? Don't believe it.
