Who is your favourite player?

Many for me. I was always a huge fan of Palffy (who is retired unfortunately) and Marian Hossa. This season Alexander Sjomin (Capitals) is really growing on me, he is incredible. From the czech players Elias, Havlat, Vyborny, Kaberle...

I also like Marian Gaborik, Brian Rafalski or Stanislav Čistov (Bruins).

But if I had to choose just 1 it would be SJOMIN (SEMIN) right now.

Semin is great. As a Leafer hats go off to Sundin and our only allstar, Tomas Kaberle.

Sidney and Malkin are tremendous players to watch.

If I had to pick one though it would have to be A.O. (Ovechkin)

There isn't a more complete player in hockey right now. Fast, skilled beyond belief, tough, fights off checks while he's pulling off highlite reel goals. He's also a class player, great role model and always makes time for interviews. The total package.

call me crazy but these are my favorite players in no order:
Zdeno Chara, Chris Campoli, Joe Sakic, Goran Bezina (ex-NHLer, first Croatian born NHL player) Anze Kopitar and Corey Sarich

A kid from my high school plays in the USHL (he was a freshman when I was a senior) and he hopes to be drafted this year

CinqueDiMaggio: Of course even I love watching these players. And even I prefer Alex O.

HajdukSplit: Yeah, Chara is one of my favourite defenders. And Anze Kopitar is a very interesting talent plus I like the fact he is slovenian.

As for the Pens talents also Jordan Staal seems to be quite promising.

Forsberg has allways been my favorite. Too bad about his injuries, the guy is a genius on the ice.

R.I.P. Tazz, good times in Bim we had.

Besides Recchi, who isn't promising on the Penguins these days?

And Jordan Staal scores a hattrick. The third goal was simply great. So was second Kopitar's.

Mike Modano has always been a favorite of mine b/c he is American.

Currently Crosby has been my favorite to watch but of all time i have a few.

Messier, Kariya, Yzerman, Modano, Lemeiux and of course Mike Richter.

So many players its hard to narrow them down.

Do you even glory hunt?

Cannot be a coincidence that two Juve-fans have such impeccable taste . Mario is by stretches the most drop-your-jaw-awesome player I ever saw.

You're just saying that because your uncle got you that Pens jacket a while back

Anyway, it's not coincidence Glen, great minds just think alike.

There are so many... but of course all time favourite is Gretzky, but also Sergey Makarov, Vladimir Ruzicka. And as a Swede I have to mention Mats Näslund, he played with such legends as Bob Gainey and Larry Robinson in Montreal Canadiens in the 80's.

My favorite player was always Super Mario. His skill is unmatched if you ask me. He was big, skated gracefully, great passer, deadly shot, great vision and he was one tough SOB. Between his back and Hodgkins its incredible to think how great he was.

I also like Steve Webb. He was the people's player. Other's I always admired Kenny Jonsson, Ron Francis, Scott Stevens, Forsberg and Claude Lapointe.
