#92 - Goran Čaušić

Another young Serbian addition, we've signed Goran (The kid on the right) who is a part of the Serbian U-21 team as well (I believe their #10). Don't really have any info on him other than he's a very offensive minded player and recently was suspended 4 games for some sort of racism on the pitch? alm:

Let's hope these kids don't end up like Akos Elek, Malecki and a bunch of other transfers we've made who hardly saw 90 minutes.

Welcome Goran and good luck!

Serbian players are something else, they have really strong mentality, even stronger than Poles and Hungarians and I think they're mentality is similar to Turkish one.

This is a good transfer and Im very sorry Red Star didnt give him the chance he deserved. Something dogdy about these transfer to be honest.

Probably have the same managers these two kids. Reports say we paid Red Star about 1 million Euro for both.

I don't like to go off stupid youtube videos where he's destroying some amateur defenses. What's your opinion on him? you think he could become a starter in the future?

There's no way he can come into this team and expect to start as we have some top notch players in that position.

Ok updated info.

Both these kids are on loan for a year with an option to buy at 1 million Euro aka will sit on the bench forever and be returned to Red Star. Great job Ersun Yanal! everyone talked about how thisguy would integrate young players into the squad, he's been doing the opposite.

Edit Edit Edit: Goran Causic is bought straight out it's Mrkela who is on loan with an option to buy.

So Goran is really a Serbian name. Now I'm 100% sure Niko Bellic is from Serbia.

I think this guy is good,at least he has potential to be good.Ur info is wrong,u bought this guy for 1,1m and loan Mrkela for 100k thats what is official on FK Rad site.
One more wrong info is those guys are Rad players not Red Star.
Both of those guys have same manager, former Fk Rad board member Ranko Stojic who has great relationships in Turkey especially Genclerbirligi.

Both of those guys are realative unknow but Causic is much better than Mrkela. That racism story is totally bullshit dont worry about that.England pumped all in the media...stupid story at least Goran is not in that incident its other guy.

Fk Rad have one of the best academies in the country if u be patient with this guy he will be first team player but i doubt u will be.

Well I wasn't that off with the prices only 200,000 Euro. So for 1.2 million Euro we bought Goran and loaned Andrej with an option to buy. Thanks for the correction. Also I thought they were on loan at Rad guess I was wrong with that too. Official site didn't give too many details so I went off what I could find online in English for these guys.

Tarik Camdal was not a reject by any means. Tarik in the few minutes he played has impressed and shown that he will be a vital part of this team in the near future. Also he was a part of German U-21 as well. I hope Goran is just as good or better than Tarik otherwise it will be a waste. I hope the best for him and hope first and foremost that Ersun Yanal gives him playing time!!

Well, you don't risk much and you don't lose squad depth at least. And they're young. They could develop into very good players, at least Goran. By the way, what happened to Pele?

Yeah definitely. Hopefully these kids appreciate that they're moving to one of the best teams in the Superlig and work hard to earn their place on the team. In the end they;re coming from playing in front of 5,000 fans to about 18,000 with the potential of a lot more with the new stadium. It will be a nice move for them and certainly pump them up.

Čaušić is something of a crossover between a #10 and a CM. He can play in both positions and is better at as a playmaker because he isn't the greatest in terms of defending and tackling, plus losing the ball further up the pitch isn't as dangerous as doing it infront of your defence.. He sees the pitch quite well but from what I've seen with Rad and various Serbian youth NT's, he simply doesn't release the ball quick enough when put under pressure by the opponent, especially if they combine that with good physical ability. There's probably potential there.

Ranko Stojić is basically trying to sell off most of his assets because it's very likely that he'll be leaving Rad at the end of the season.

Sounds like someone who could be worked upon and with a little luck could be a very nice player. That other dude is probably for feeling more comfortable together.

Thanks for the info on Goran and Andrej Commendatore and zoric

Hopefully they will be used by Ersun Yanal and not left playing in our A2 team forever.
