As expected, we've signed Patryk Malecki from Wisla Krakow on a one year loan with the option to buy at the end of the year. As Salt said Patryk can play as forward and can play both wings, he's an aggressive type of player and a fighter.

Welcome to Eskisehirspor Patryk

I don't see why not, I think the registration is like a week before the round starts.

Yea, Malecki is typical Polish winger, just like Grosicki (...Peszko, Blaszczykowski, Rybus, Kupisz and so on), but a bit more physically stronger and aggresive kind footballer than Kamil and I'd say slightly less technically gifted. He played quite poor football during last season, so difficult to say whether he won't repeat Brozek's case, who was really great some time before his transfer to Turkish league and came there with these still decent abilities, but also in really poor shape.

Anyway if Malecki achieves his top form, he will be able to being even more important part for your team than Grosicki for Sivasspor. Because Patryk is more experienced, more brave type of footballer and usually had more stable form than Grosik.

Thanks for the input, in any case hope he has his act together here in Eskisehir. Even in his worst day he cannot be worse than Burhan Eser so we'll take it. Now all we have left is a spot for a quality CB.

Małecki is a goog player but he is crazy and unpredictable. On the pitch Małecki is very aggressive and has big heart to play. He is better than Grosicki. Well, that he was lended and not bought because Małecki was can was does not check though it is good player. Małecki did not play in last season almost because he quarreled with coach. I like turkish league and wish all turkish supporters all goods.

This is last month's news, my own translation

In a convo with the staff of wisla.krakow.pl website Malecki discussed his loan to Eskisehirspor. He said that despite lacking regular game time in the first team, he always felt needed.

Quote:
"I would come to the coaches and tell them that I would like to play in reserve side's games. Everyone was surprised because all the players from the first team would treat playing there as a humiliation. Despite their amazement, I also saw delight on their faces - that - despite the fact I'm not playing per se, I still have the desire to go on the pitch. Young players with whom I played with in the reserve side would ask me to help them more often. It gave me a confidence boost [...], people have been seeing this and appreciated that I wanted to help. This kept me alive."
- said Małecki.

Wow, that's a great attitude

The few times I saw him after signing he seemed decent...why isn't Ersun giving him a go? Is it a repeat of the Akos Elek transfer?

He does have great work ethic but Ersun Yanal sent him back during the winter transfer period. To be honest in the games he played he looked real nervous on the ball don't know if he was excited or just did a line of coke before taking the field. He couldn't control the ball very well and always winded losing it and chasing after the players who took it. AT least he was on loan and we didn't splash a crazy amount of money on him like Trabzon did with Adrian.
