You would know better than I would as you live in Croatia, you are a constant presence living there day to day. A teacher of the game so to speak. And I apologize for elongating my response, but that brings me to another vital point, and I will shorten the group name at this point, the naive parrots as you so nicely put it.

A true NP would not hold back with their arrogant response in an attempt to discredit your post trying to negate it even though you are a student of the game. There are things they do not understand, that they would not be privy to, by not being present and living in the source destination. Yes they can comment freely and hopefully with some intellectual prowess, about the subject matter at hand. However, the smell of arrogance would fill the room thinking or believing that they would have a better understanding. They would not even consider that you might have a better understanding more so about a point or topic in that country because you live there! They would not even consider it! It does not mean that someone has to live in that country to orchestrate a very good discussion or factual piece of evidence about such country, but the arrogance of not considering the fact you live in the country is quite insincere and reprehensible. Complete and utter narcissism.

That mindset, at least for me, is both comedic and horrific.

Sorry, I stand corrected:

That mindset, at least for me, it both comedić and horrifić.

Have a good day.

Agree, first hand experience is important though sometimes you can get a clearer picture from the outside looking in. I think it depends.

The naive parrots I mention are your usual barroom know-it-alls, guys who get their info from journalists with an agenda, who've made up their mind a long time ago and now just look to confirm what they already know. The types who read only headlines. They're a dime a dozen in Croatia, the conspiracies are rampant even without the flame being fanned by "journalists" and editors in the MSM.

From reading about Cacic the man seemed quite aloof when it came to contacting players and keeping in communication with a wider group. I think it was Antonio Milic who the first time he spoke to Cacic was when he called him up. Dalic seems to keep in contact with many players and seems to let them know where they stand and future plans for them. Things like that probably didn’t help with Jozo.

Regardless can he ever be called up was reading about an official switch to FIfA overrrides the fact he was still never capped?

It defintely depends!

However, my point is that these NP's don't even consider the fact, they are above and better than that according to them.

Just read that FIFA has allowed the national teams which qualified for the World Cup to name as many as 35 players to the provisional squad, in the past the max was 30 (the final squad of course remains 23). So plenty of opportunity to make the "big 4" in the HNL happy to add at least 2 players from each before they are inevitably cut

Every time you pick up a book, turn on the computer or tv, there is an agenda you moron. Every single writer, journalist etc. has an agenda you idiot.

Thats why books are still the best way to go. Those who work for corporate oligarchs are only allowed to go certain places with what they write. Like how its ok for the "left" to talk about identity politics but not capitalism etc.

Its incredible how overpriced these friendly (club and country) games are in the United States. The Croatia-Peru game isn't too bad but $50 for upper level seats is pretty steep (even on secondary markets like StubHub you won't find seats cheaper than $50)

I was thinking about going to the Peru-Iceland game at Red Bull Arena but then I saw the cheapest ticket was over $100 About 10 years ago I went to see Bayern Munich at Giants Stadium for like $20 sitting field level, what the hell happened I don't blame these teams though, there are a ton of suckers in this country willing to shell out that type of money for friendly games

prices seemed fine for me, I was thrilled to pay whatever I had to to see the A team in action for the first time... and I had great aisle seats right near the center line and just a few rows back for $100-something a ticket, I think $750-ish for 4 tickets with insurance (which I am happy we bought since we had to cancel)

Hope your son is doing alright.

I wanted to go to the games in CA last year and these games coming up, but the wife isn't thrilled about me going solo to Miami/California while she plays mommy with a 9 month olf for a long weekend

Price is no object if you're a #realfan, even if the ticket was $800, #realfans will fill the stadium.

Ask comrades Plow and srećnobraćo.
