Teams: FC Nantes, Chamois Niortais
Monaco's first win with a new defense, Fabregas back on the team (as the captain, after being putted aside) and with Golovin, who delivered.
About Nice, well, they're too young in defense unfortunately, because they have a good coach, a good keeper and interesting forwards. They'll have to find a defender during the winter transfert window, I guess.
Apart from Jamerson, it's not that Monaco has much experience at the back neither (or too old with Glik, benched... like Nice has Dante, injured and on the downhill since last year too, already) but Bakayoko seems to have settled well at midfield and they have that duo Ben Yedder-Slimani. Jardim is still in search of the best formula though and it remains to be seen if Golovin really is back or not.
In the meantime, Paulo Sousa's Bordeaux don't make fuss but they're in good position.
More noticeably, Lille has recovered well from the CL (2-0 over Strasbourg) and Angers are second after their 4-1 win over a pale Saint-Etienne and a 2-0 win in Toulouse.
