The Oranje ladies

Drew 0-0 last night against Germany, which was decent, but still it's like watching two pubs sides battling it out against eachother after having already played the 3rd half.

It was if they didn't believe in it in the first place. Thought first that ref would whistle during the attack.

You need a lot of beers and snacks to be really enjoying this kind of football. And unlike a mens game the guys watching will probably grab their own beers instead of checking with their partner or friends.

KO after not scoring a goal at all. It was some fun following it. On Twitter that is...

Which game will be tougher. The one against China or Canada?

In any case, the first three points are in the bag

Canada have got the refs, the penalty they were awarded in stoppage time was a joke I thought. Very soft.

China will park the bus most likely but they looked very organized against Canada

Canada is a decent team but not among the favorites to win this tournament despite hosting. Netherlands played well but were kind of hanging on in the last 15-20 minutes, a better team than NZL would have probably gotten a result

Watching the game against China, first 15 mins has been entertaining. So many mistakes.

The Dutch should have lost 10-0, China had about 30 chances, so much of them were sent straight at the Dutch keeper... Absolutely awful from everyone (on Netherlands), actually worst football I have seen. China just needed someone who could finish...

China get the win they deserve in the 90th min.

The US coverage of the Women's World Cup, which is big here btw, was hyping the Dutch like crazy pre-tournament saying they were dark horses and building up Miedama but in reality its been very poor from what I've seen. They were lucky to beat New Zealand

Most of the analysts were picking the Dutch to win the group!

Though with 3 points they can still get out of the group as their GD isn't too bad compared to some of the other groups

Managed a 1:1 draw with hosts Canada, probably the best the Dutch have played in the tournament, especially the last 15-20 minutes but poor finishing, I guess some will say Canada slacked off a bit too but whatever

With 4 points the Dutch will advance as one of the best third place teams and you will play most likely either Germany or Japan

Germany is going to be a tough match, but honestly I don't know anything about the Japanese team. Are they playing well this tournament?

Unfortunately I wasn't able to watch any match of the Dutch team (due to difference in time), but what I have both heard and read it wasn't good at all! At least they survived group stage, but if they'll face Germany, the tournament will probably be over.

The first two games were really rubbish but versus Canada they played much better. There were just unable to finish off the chances they got.

Said that, versus Germany or Japan they'll be pretty chanceless I fear.
