Balgradean, and not Nita, will replace Tatarusanu. Steaua plays on Wednesday against Iasi.

Quote:

That makes more sense, I was wondering why Nita wasn't called up given his performance.

The whole first training was open to the public:

I like how things are being done. Daum usually has a smile on his face. Let´s hope all this can translate to the field

Good to see Vatajelu. At least offensively, he is by far our best wing back

I give Daum 3 chances from now on to call Fl. Matei. This squad looks already better than anything Piti or Iordanescu would've made. Will be very interesting to see our starting line up.

Well, i´ve followed Matei as best as I could and I must say there is something strange with him. At the start of this season he was replaced many times around min. 60, and then he was a sub in a couple of games. It does seem his physique isn´t the best. At some monents he didn´t seem to give it all on the field

On the last game he was brilliant, he can be a game changer. He is not specially fast but he has great technique, dribbling and passing. I hope he continues this way, and hope he isn´t another talent with a doubtful attitude. I´m sure that if he plays and performs Daum will call him

GSP is talking about this strange team: Silviu Lung jr. - Săpunaru, Chiricheș, Dragoș Grigore, Steliano Filip - Stanciu, Hoban, Chipciu - Adi Popa, Andone, Stancu

Chiriches is doubtful for problems in the knee.

But I suspect they have no clue about what Daum is thinking.

Yeah, some said he wants to play a 4-3-3, and that would demand more versatile midfielders. Bicfalvi-Hoban-Maxim and Popa-Andone-Stancu/Chipciu would make more sense

if he called both Enache and Benzar as midielders he may be thinking in a 3 man backline with offensive side backs. The selection allows many possibilities. I only hope we have a ball possesion approach, and from that on I know Daum will realize he can´t pull that with players like Chipciu, Torje, Hoban, Pintlii, Keseru or Stancu. He´ll have to consider Nistor, Lucian, Anton, Matei, Tanase, Budescu and bring back Alibec (which i´m sure he´d call if he was fully fit)

He said he values players who can play in different positions, so I don't think he thinks he called X as a Y... of course he needs to have DFs and MFs and STs but he was rotating the players through positions to figure out who can play where.

Possible linuep vs Muntenegru:
