I honestly feel nothing for this team. What's the point of having feelings for this San Romanino? If we tried to use our best possible team, and lose, that would be different. This is absolutely no better than Piturca. Even he relented and called up Sanmartean and Budescu.
1_ Scared coaches pay more attention to defensive problems than offensive ones. In his retarded mind, he must think we "risked too much" against Finland. It´s obvious he only attacked because he was finally forced by desperation. But you notice a coach´s "nature" from miles away
2_Being afraid also leads to always preferring players you know, and that give a certain performance, than risking with new ones. TBH Stancu created some danger, and as Maxim is unreliable, he prefers a player he knows. Of course LW is the worst possible position for Stancu...
Maxim is a must, but also Alibec would deserve his chance. I wouldn´t throw all new players at once (this is also a consequence of not trying them earlier), but Budescu-Alibec suppoerted by Torje, Maxim and Lucian can´t go wrong against Feroe. IMO we´d also need a player like bumba to have more speed on the flanks, at least for the SH, because Popa is zero for the NT
3_That´s why I want the coach to leave the most, and also sometimes we need bad results to avoid comformitiy from people that can´t look beyond a result no matter how poor. Regarding the interests behind the selection, that´s clearly the worst problem, so at least seeing players like Lucian, Budescu or Alibec shows that it isn´t impossible to get called without having a a huge pedrigree, playing for Steaua and who knows what else
