Every site has a different line up until now. Either Iordanescu himself (BTW, at this point I´m sure he decides himself and doesn´t care about his second coaches) is unsure, or they just make it up.
If we go by that, Maxim is mentioned in various sites, which can´t be bad, and either Budescu doesn´t play or he plays instead of Lucian
I watched the Hungary game again. (Yeah, in my spare time I also stick rusty nails in my body
p) because I wanted to se more objectively how we approached the game.
Here is what I saw:
- We can´t talk about a defensive performance, we actually applied a lot of pressure, dominated and had the ball most of the time. We didn´t use long balls as we used to.
- BUT we were terribly ineffective, 2!! shots on goal in the entire game, and only Torje´s one was dangerous. We looked more like Iordanescu´s team from the late 90´s, but with worst players
- Not having offensive side backs probably hurt the dynamic of the game, and Keseru isn´t a striker the creative players can combine with. So even having the ball, that team wasn´t able to combine, except from some actions by Lucian and Torje.
- Sinamartean had some classy moves, but he laso lost many duels. He was far from being decisive. In his case I stand with what I said after the game, we need his class, but unless he is unfit because of his long injury and having only a couple of games since that, he won´t be able to be our engine as he was last year. In that sense seeing Budescu and Maxim start would make sense, in order to have creative options
