"Nu este bine. Cine își asumă acest rol, de lider? Numărul 10 este liderul echipei, el face diferența, nu mai putem merge doar cu cărăuși care aleargă. În ultimii 30 de metri ai nevoie de astfel de jucători. Trebuie găsit. De vreo șapte ani tot se caută. Păi, găsiți-l frate!"

Still kind of retarded with Papp there, I guess we can expect Grigore since he sort of deserves his spot after the Hungary game, but still, I like Moti.. and Keseru starting up front instead of Alibec.. though maybe he will have a better game. Good thing is Budescu there and Torje and Popa on the flanks is normal in the circumstances. Pintilii and SM back at CM

I guess all in all, given the players called, that wouldn't be a bad starting lineup at all. I hope it is accurate, with the exception of seeing Matel and Alibec in there as well p

Northern Ireland is way too ftw, having them at the Euro and possibly not the Netherlands ( which, let's face it, their team looks like crap now, look at that lineup in Turkey... RvP and Sneijder are their big names which are past their prime and Depay might be good for the future but except a home match against Brugge hasn't done anything extraordinary ).

A group at Euro might look like this:

Wales, Romania, Hungary, Albania.

Then a R2: Romania-Northern Ireland
Then QF: Romania-Israel
SF: Romania-Austria
3rd place match: Romania-Wales
F: Austria-Hungary all over again b11111111tch3333s.

GSP now says "the miracle lasted a day" and Iordanescu plans on sending on the exact same team, except Pintilii instead of Prepelita to hold on to a historic 0-0...

IMO, if this is true, we'll give Greece their first win.

Maybe slightly different? It's our new Joma shirt in any case.

If that's true, NoName is 100% right in what he thinks about the coachs. It's impossible they change.

Yep. There's a new blue stripe on the shorts that wasn't there before.

It can´t be true, but only our coaches can be so coward and shortsighted to do that. iordanescu is as bad as Piturca, it´s incredible...

Well, i didn't think somebody else can be as bad as Piti but Razvan and Iorda both proved me wrong....*need more skepticism*

I think we have good chances to lose tonight if the Greeks are atleast normally motivated, they have the quality (you dont need much) to beat a coward team like Romania which won't put a lot of pressure on their defense. I think it will be one of these 4 results: 0:0, 1:1, 0:1, 1:2

Our Results are ok, good but watching our gameplay (how we get these results) is just so painful. only a matter of time until we get results which match our performances...

Imagine Piti watching NT games in front of his tv and thinking:"see, you can't play better football with the players at disposal in Romania"

Every site has a different line up until now. Either Iordanescu himself (BTW, at this point I´m sure he decides himself and doesn´t care about his second coaches) is unsure, or they just make it up.

If we go by that, Maxim is mentioned in various sites, which can´t be bad, and either Budescu doesn´t play or he plays instead of Lucian

I watched the Hungary game again. (Yeah, in my spare time I also stick rusty nails in my bodyp) because I wanted to se more objectively how we approached the game.

Here is what I saw:

- We can´t talk about a defensive performance, we actually applied a lot of pressure, dominated and had the ball most of the time. We didn´t use long balls as we used to.

- BUT we were terribly ineffective, 2!! shots on goal in the entire game, and only Torje´s one was dangerous. We looked more like Iordanescu´s team from the late 90´s, but with worst players

- Not having offensive side backs probably hurt the dynamic of the game, and Keseru isn´t a striker the creative players can combine with. So even having the ball, that team wasn´t able to combine, except from some actions by Lucian and Torje.

- Sinamartean had some classy moves, but he laso lost many duels. He was far from being decisive. In his case I stand with what I said after the game, we need his class, but unless he is unfit because of his long injury and having only a couple of games since that, he won´t be able to be our engine as he was last year. In that sense seeing Budescu and Maxim start would make sense, in order to have creative options

We weren't defensive per se, we held the ball, had more posession...

That said, we were completely ineffective.

Sanmartean is good because he tries actions no one else does. It's a mystery to me why he doesn't take the free kicks, though. Power isn't everything.
