This situation doesn´t cease to surprise. Always the same. How can we measure our strenght if we are missing Chivu, Goian, Sapunaru, Radu, Tanase, Mutu, Constantin and Niculae? Most of them should be starters.
We could really have a good team but this way it´s very hard. We´ll have 2 teams with almost no chance of a substitution. Lucescu should reconsider and use all the possible starters in the second game, to at least give some minutes to the first 11, if there is such thing in Romania.
It´s a pity we´ll miss the chance to play against Sweden. Anybody knows if ukraine will side their starters against us?
Providing there aren´t more inuries (some more players should be called or we won´t have 11 players to field) the first game will be useful only for some players, like Rapa, Papp, Gardos, Panti, Deac and Muresan. The rest aren´t NT players or aren´t yet, like Sburlea and Ganea.
Prosport says this team is confirmed:
Maftei, Gardos, Papp, Rat
Roman, Muresan, Alexa, Deac
The second game, probably against Cyprus
, will find a supposed starting team with Salagean and Grigore!!!
It will be useful mainly to give minutes to the attack of Torje, Marica and Stancu, and exciting trio. However, we don´t know what will Marica´s situation be in one month vs Bosnia, if he isn´t playing for Stuttgart.
More minutes to Ropotan and Florescu together and another chance for Zicu are other useful things.
The team should be:
Rapa, Tamas, Grigore, Salagean
Torje, Florescu, Ropotan, Zicu
At full strenght we could have this team:
Sapunaru(Rapa), Tamas(Goian), Chivu, Rat (Radu)
Torje(Zicu), Muresan, Ropotan, Deac (Tanase)
Marica, Mutu (Stancu)
But it´s a dream to even test our better team...
