Missed the France - Germany game live, as i was welcoming my sister's baby birth.
On what i have seen from it then, i think the team lacked experience, a bit too shy also and probably that world class player that can open up any closed game. That said, France showed in this WC some will and collective play, and will build on this.
I do not say this world class, has to be Ribéry.
From the current squad, i believe on Patrice Evra is about to retire from NT level.
As far i see things : (In brackets, ages of players in 2016)
Of course, a load of things will change in two years, with players improving or disappointing at club level and we will use this thread for this. I believe the role that top club of Ligue 1 (PSG, Monaco) to play some French player will be really crucial for the future.
Btw if you missed that, Henry reading some Baudelaire. Un peu de finesse s'il vous plait.
There's not too much choices, just the number, the diversity of profiles and the quality needed with Griezmann, Giroud, Payet, Martial, Coman to which I'd add N'Koudou to offer some tactical variants as he can play on both sides of a 4-4-2 or surely more a 2-3-1 (and that he has a good balance defence/offense). Voilà.
But it seems that Benzema is not worried by the justice anymore. So it's all in Deschamps hands, yeah. What he will do, N'KOudou or Benzeman? I don't know. We will see.
