Valbuena had two great chances to score. Last bad past from Menez.

Lloris is great.

2-0.

Germany does not ran much tough

I will have to watch it again, more closely. Look like lloris made some great save to keep the result. Debuchy looked everywhere, maybe a better option than Sagna ?

On the balance of play, I think France deserved to win. Also, I feel they have the best combined defensive unit( defence + midfield anchors), which is going to be difficult to get past against at the Euros and with the now improved Benzema, they are lethal upfront as well.

I didn't watch the match cos of surprise guests deciding to show up chez nous.

But from Edwins impartail summary, I'm beginning to look forward to the Euro's after a disasterous WC10.

Patrick, who was your man of the match?

Quite a lively game. More goals could have been scored by both side. But it was a decent game to watch, after all the loads of sleepy game France gave since 2004. That game still show France can do well against a team that actually play and open the game for counters. While they could perfectly struggle against some minnows.

Lloris should be my man of the match. Almost a perfect game, with some decisive saves. You could have thought that the captain armband would have give him more pressure but the 25 years old keeper had a great game. He is by far the more regular in performance of the national team.

Debuchy was the player who had to show the most in this game (Along with Giroud, but he is without a doubt barred by Benzema in this tactic). Great activity, and two assist. Blanc will have a tough choice with him, Sagna and Réveillère. He perform really well with Lille, and i believe he will fly to the Euro.

Last night Blanc has chosen to use a rather skilled midfield, who can dribble, keep the ball and play with one two. Rather than profile of players à la Alou Diarra. Less skilled but more powerful. They were looked very organised and moved like a team. everything is not perfect, but you can tend to see Blanc philosophy of game.

Ribéry a bit quiet and shy as usual. Valbuena should not be a starter.Rather a guy entering in the game around 60'. Remy is ahead of him anyway.

Liked Giroud, who will remind Benzema that his name is not written on the marble with the NT. My M'Vila, average, a bit tired maybe, but he has played around 43 games so far this season.
The partnership Rami - Mexes is the best we can have right now. They can be ok, but for sure we will have some shivers in the game.

Thank you so much for the summary.

This team is still in transition with alot of new players replacing the old tiresome gaurd, but I like this new team. Remy seems to be the surprise package, powerful, dangerous and deadly.

At the moment we are oozing class defensively and offensively and can move up a gear against the big guns...I was very impressed with France's performance against England, when they looked composed, but we can look vulnerable against lesser teams.

Also I'm hoping Benzema stay's clear of injury and continue's his impressive form of Real for his NT.
