Yoann Gourcuff [Olympique Lyonnais]

Club Career stats

He is having a good start of the season with Bordeaux, after two season with Milan where he hasn't get much play time. But since the Romania game, all the hype is on his shoulder now. Do you think he will be our National team playmaker ?

Now Aulas said Lyon needs him at "any price".p

So will he stay with Bordeaux or move elsewhere ? On RMC yesterday, i have heard that he aggreed on almost everything with Bordeaux except he want a release clause at 15M€ while Bordeaux will/has paid around 13M€ for him. We will see...

His coach seems to think he is leaving and his dad seem to think that he is staying. Still a coin toss.

My guess is that he will come back to Milan IF Milan gets a new coach.

if he comes back to milan, it would be a crime to bench him.

Agreed. And he would be under Ancelotti, but likely not under say Van Basten or even Rijkaard.

Gazzetta says he's waiting on who will be Milan's coach next season.

If it is Van Basten he will probably come back, because the Dutchman already had a bid for him while he was at Ajax.

According to almost everywhere I've read, the chance of him staying is only 10%.

In fairness though Ancelotti has been with Milan for a very long time.

Back to Gourcuff, if he comes back to Milan, I imagine he will be played out of position, as Kaka is there already. I guess it is feasible that we will play the Xmas tree formation with Kaka and Gourcuff behind Pato though. We shall see...

we play with one or two strikers.
---------Pato
Ronaldinho--Kaka

or

----Inzaghi--Pato
-------Kaka

This may however change if we get a new coach

So he is staying finally at Bordeaux, for a big amount of Money. Wise move at one year from the WC.
