Mexico 2014??

Alberto De La Torre met with Joseph Blatter to analyse the possobilities of bringing the 2014 edition of the WC back on Aztec soil. There has also been rumors circulating the possobility of a joint World Cup between Mexico and the United States but to that De La Torre stated that he would prefer to do it on our own account.

I don't know, that would be the 3rd time for them. USA and Mexico are both capable to do it alone. I would really like to see Canada get their act together and put in a good bid.

In all likelyhood the 2014 WC will be held in the Western Hemisphere. Brazil, Chile, Canada and now Mexico have expressed desire to host the event. I would think the US will also be in the running too. Of all these countries Mexico is probably the one with the least chance of getting it. They already hosted it twice. I think that FIFA before giving it to them would give it to any of the other countries. Since Conmebol hasn't hosted it since 1978, I think Brazil and Chile have to be consider frontrunners, with Brazil being a strong favorite.

The 2014 WC will unfortunately be in Brazil. They last hosted the darn thing back in 1950! Besides, Brazil is the only South American country that's capable of hosting such event.

It also appears the Joseph Blatter has stated that Mexico stands a good chance of Landing the Clube World Cup which would be held 2005.

Mexico and USA should not host it together, it would be redicilous. Also they have both just played hosts for the WC so I would like to see it somewhere else. It might be Brazil I think.

Is it definate that the 2014 WC will be in America?

Well, 2002 Asia, 2006 Europe, 2010 Africa and 2014 America make sence...

I read in an article about a month ago that the US was thinking about backing the Canadian bid.

That's for the Women's World Cup, not the men's.
