Tricolor this is U23 but we do have quiet of few faces that are recognisable such as Cacho, Rafael Marquez (of Pumas) and such... our next game is Vs Jamica on thursday I belive... Its on pay perview only but you can probably get it in radio or you can just do like me and go to the Mexico forum of Univision and keep up with other's live play by play.

Here is the picture now

Mexico defeated Guatemala (in PK's 1-1, 4-3) so they will move on to face Costa Rica

and

El Salvador Defeated Venezuela (1-0) so they will go on to face Hati.

Both games will be played Wednsday the 4th.

Mexico Vs Costa Rica will be a pritty good one. Lets hope Mexico slips out of their funk and thump those pesky Ticos.

Here is a little review of the game from the CONCACAF site.

El Salvador defeated Mexico 4:3 on penalties after playing to a 1:1 tie after 120 minutes Saturday to take the gold medal, while Costa Rica claimed the bronze with a penalty kick victory over Haiti at the football competition at the XIX Central American and Caribbean Games at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador.
Rafael Marquez opened the scoring for Mexico in the gold medal match just before the quarter hour. However, the hosts tied the score three minutes deep into first half stoppage time, Josué Galdamez sending the home crowd into a frenzy.

Though both teams had scoring chances in the second half of play and overtime, neither was able to get a shot past the opposing ‘keeper and they headed to the shoot-out after the two hours of play ended in a deadlock.

At the penalties, Mexico were first to shoot, Luis Perez stepping to the spot first but missing, opening the door for El Salvador. That little opening was all the hosts needed, converting four in a row capped off by Selvin Gonzalez before Mexico’s Juan Carlos Cacho also failed on his attempt, giving them their first CAC Games football championship since 1954.

The Curse of the PK's still lives. I am tired of this team constantly underacheving. There is no exucse for Mexico losing to El Salvador. And I know that they are already making exuses on why we lost but the truth is we constantly fail to put teams away when we have the chance. douring that game Mexico dominated the game even with the Referee on El Salvador's side, even with the fans throwing beer botles at our players, and even with a man down yet all for not because we can not finish worth beans. The only thing that keeps me from getting truly upset is that I know this U23 team is really not the next Mexico. In fact i would bet that only about 5 of those guys will be with Mexico for their next WC.
