Jairo Borgetti

Is it Jairo? anyway why is this top Mexican striker not playing in a European league? His goal against Italy proved his class and he definitely would fit in a team like Celta or Bologna! is it because he gets well paid in Mexico? or lack of ambition!?

plus Fransico Palencia, why did he not move to Espaynol?

Mexican players are well known traditionally to stay at home, although a few have ventured to play in the US since it's really not that far away.

Yes, Borgetti is one of the most prolific scorers on the Mexico national team. He will be a great asset to any club if he ever decides to leave Mexico.

He got little intrest from the Italian clubs, I belive the most concrete offers he recieved where from some Brazilian offers... I know Javier Aguirre eventually wants to take him to Osuna... but I dont know if they can afford him...

After the Wold Cup there was a lot of talk about Mexicans possibly invading europe but there has been no such thing... In fact most of them have left... Blanco is over here, Palencia came back also... That I know of there are only about 5 Mexicans abroad, and the two most promising ones are injured (Rafael Marquez and Gerardo Torrado) Manuel Vidrio and Ochoa are in Osuna but I belive they are both pritty old, the same with Sergio Almaguer of Galstray, I belive Luis Hernandez is going somwhere in the middle east aswell.

By the way its Jared Borgetti.
