Mexico NT

I'm a Slovenian journalist working on a soccer magazine about World Cup 2002. One of my tasks is to write something about Mexican national team. Since I'd like to write a good article, I'd like someone Mexican or with good links in Mexican soccer to help me. I'd like to know more interesting things about Mexico NT, and more about players that are most likely going to the WC.

Well I'll help you here too

The coach is Javier Aguirre and plays a 3-5-2 formation. Solid but unexpectacular that's how I would describe them.

The likely 23 are

Keepers: Oscar Perez, Oswaldo Sanchez and either Adrian Fernandez or Jorge Campos

Defense: Rafael Marquez, Manuel Vidrio, Alberto Rodrigues, Tomas Campos, Melvin Brown and Claudio Suarez(if he recuperates in time form broken leg surgery)

Wing-Backs: Jesus Arellano, Ramon Heriberto Morales and Gabriel Caballero

Midfielders: Gerardo Torrado, Sigifredo Mercado, Alberto Garcia Aspe, Johan Rodriguez, Braulio Luna, German Villa and Carlos Ochoa.

Forwards: Cuahutemoc Blanco, Francisco Palencia, Jared Borgueti and Adolfo Bautista or Antonio De Nigris.
